They were alone in the house as they say upstairs in his room; Chanyeol laid with his back against the bedframe as his lover laid across his chest. Chanyeol stroked his hair gently and kissed the crown of his head. He sighed.

"Would you like to hear a song?" Chanyeol asked. His lover glanced up at him with a soft smile and nodded. Chanyeol smiled too. "I heard their music when living in America and this one song really connected with me. It always made me think of you...." Chanyeol whispered as he kissed his temple.

"Will you sing it for me?"

"I can try . . ." Chanyeol muttered. He laughed. "But if I fail, you better not laugh at me."

His lover smiled sweetly and kissed him before whispering, "I'd never laugh at you."

Chanyeol nodded with a soft smile before he began to sing:

Chanyeol saw small tears fall down his lover's cheeks as he sang. His heart ached at the sight, but he kept on singing as he pulled him close and gently kissed away the tears. He held him close as his voice filled the small bedroom with his pain, his, longing, and his love.

Wherever you are, Chanyeol vowed. I will find you again. Even in death, I'll never leave you, my love.

With the last three words, Chanyeol's voice faded out. He inhaled heavily as small tears rolled down his cheeks, as his lover straddled his lap and firmly clasped his cheeks between his hands.

He kissed him slowly before he whispered, "Thank you."

Chanyeol smiled sadly and softly muttered, "Remember it for me?"

"I will."

Chanyeol nodded and caressed his cheek. "Thank you, and let's not cry anymore, we've done enough. I just want to lay here with you . . ."

"Okay, Chanyeol," he whispered. "I love you."

"I love you too . . ."

Forever.
