Draco and Blaise soon reappeared back in Hermione's office, with their mates giving them suspicious looks.

"Ran into your ex-boyfriend while we were there," Draco said immediately before sitting down in the seat next to Ginny.

"Ah, that explains the frustration we felt," Hermione said while shaking her head. "I hope he didn't cause too much trouble."

Blaise shrugged. "Just being his regular self; accusing Draco of having something to do with it, that sort of thing."

Hermione sighed angrily. "He better get over that quickly."

"Blaise sort of ripped him a new one about it, but I doubt any of what he said got through Weasel's thick skull," Draco said. "Anyways, we've actually been given permission to take the letter off premises for twenty-four hours. I'm going to see if my father can recognize the handwriting since I can't place it."

"That's a good idea," Ginny said, her eyebrows shooting up in surprise. "When were you going to go?"

"Probably here shortly, just to get it out of the way," Draco shrugged. "Plus that way we don't have to keep bothering you two."

The girls laughed and Hermione shook her head. "Actually, I've sort of finished everything that is demanding my attention today. I can take the rest of the day off and we can join you. It's been a couple of weeks since we've seen your parents anyway and Narcissa has been asking us to visit soon."

"What is it you muggles say, killing two birds with one rock?" Draco asked with a smile.

Hermione laughed again. "Close enough. Let me just pack everything away and we can floo there. Should we let them know that we're heading over?"

"Nah, they're always at the Manor now," Draco shrugged.

Hermione rolled her eyes and put away her files, saying, "I'm sure your mother wouldn't appreciate it if we just show up all of a sudden in their fireplace."

"I promise it's alright, love," He said, putting a hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry."

Hermione sighed in defeat and finished packing her things with Ginny's help since she still couldn't hold anything for too long. While her hands were nearly fully healed, there was still a bit of pain here and there, and Draco felt awful that she was still in pain.

"Stop that," She muttered to him as they exited her office.

"What?" Draco asked in surprise as he looked at her.

"Stop feeling guilty every time you look at my hands," Hermione answered, locking the door and turning around to face him. "I'm fine."

"You can barely hold anything in your hands," He said quietly, casting a quick glance down at her still-red fingertips.

She rolled her eyes. "I will hex you if you continue to feel like that."

He grinned slightly and gestured towards the elevators where Blaise and Ginny were already waiting for them. They quietly took the elevator down to the first floor where the fireplaces were, fighting through the crowds to stand in line.

"I still think we need to let your parents know that we're visiting," Hermione said with a sigh.

Draco shook his head and wrapped an arm around her waist, pulling her towards him to kiss her temple. "You think too much."

"Thinking too much has been very helpful in the past," She argued.

"It's also gotten you into a lot of trouble," Ginny added from behind them with a grin.
