Much to Hermione's delight, Lucius was able to successfully move all the wedding plans to fit with the new location at their bungalow in the Maldives. Hermione spent the next few days excitedly going back and forth between working and planning the wedding, having lunches with Lucius and Draco so they could go over everything.
She even found her dress quickly with the help of her mother, Ginny, and Narcissa. Ginny was also able to find a nice dress for herself on the same trip, which made her happy as it didn't accentuate her growing bump.
Draco and Hermione left for the bungalow that Friday evening, wanting a night to themselves before everyone showed up the next morning.
"Are you excited?" Draco asked as he came up behind her in the kitchen.
She smiled and turned around, wrapping her arms around his neck. "Of course! I finally get to be your wife!"
He grinned and gave her a quick kiss before asking, "When is everyone supposed to be getting here?"
"I'm not sure," Hermione shrugged. "Blaise and Ginny are probably going to be the first ones, their portkey was set to come here at around nine in the morning I believe."
"Did your parents get their portkey?" He asked.
She nodded and smiled. "I made sure they got theirs and that they know when and how to use it."
"Good." He kissed her nose and then released her to grab a glass from the cabinet. "Am I going to be unable to see you tomorrow until the wedding?"
She laughed. "Most likely, if Molly has anything to say about it. My mother is a bit more lax on that, though, but not by much."
Draco shook his head and sighed. "As long as I get to marry you tomorrow and nothing falls apart, I suppose I can deal with that."
She rolled her eyes and gave him a kiss on the cheek before walking away. "Such a drama king."
The next morning seemed to be less chaotic than it had for Ginny's wedding, but Hermione still felt incredibly closed in. Draco promised the women the entire bungalow to get ready, opting to get ready in his parents' large, portable tent on the beach. This seemed to please both Molly and Jean, who both were convinced in wanting Draco to not see Hermione at all on the wedding day.
Hermione and Ginny were relaxing in the pool, Ginny having gotten there first with Blaise. It took forever to convince Blaise that Ginny was going to be alright there without him, and Hermione couldn't help but roll her eyes when she caught Blaise putting up invisible railings around the deck before reluctantly leaving.
"He does that all the time now," Ginny sighed. "He thinks I don't notice, but seriously, there's only so many times I can bump into an invisible fence before figuring it out."
Hermione shook her head, smiling as she rested her head against her arms and sighed. The water in the pool felt amazing, and was just what she needed at that moment. For some reason, she was nervous, and she knew it was hers and not Draco's nerves.
"Everything alright?" Ginny asked, looking at Hermione. "You're awfully quiet."
"I'm just nervous for some reason," Hermione answered, frowning slightly.
"It could be just pre-wedding jitters," Ginny shrugged. "Why don't you go get a drink to calm you down?"
"I'm not going to drink while you can't," Hermione said. "That's a bit rude."
