Draco had apparated back to their manor to grab changes of clothes while Hermione stayed in the room with Ginny and Blaise, though he did not want to leave her side one bit. He frantically grabbed anything and everything he could think of clothes-wise, throwing it all into her beaded bag that she used for everything.
When he appeared back in the room no less than ten minutes after, he immediately relaxed and slowed his pace, standing next to Hermione who was still sitting at the foot of Ginny's bed. She smiled up at him and leaned against him while his arm went around her, holding her close as if she was going to disappear again.
"So," He started, looking at Ginny and Blaise while nodding towards Ginny's stomach, "What are you two wanting it to be?"
Ginny smiled slightly as she rested her hand on her belly and shrugged. "I'm honestly hoping for a girl, but knowing my family and their genes, it most likely will be a boy."
"It better be a boy," Blaise said, in a jokingly stern voice. "I am not going to deal with the young adolescent daughter if she's anything like you."
"Like me!" Ginny gave him an offended look. "What about you?!"
He scoffed. "I was an angel at school. I didn't go around starting secret clubs in an attempt at a coup!"
Everyone laughed at that, but Hermione's laugh turned into a groan as she was hit was another dizzy spell, this one worse than the previous one. Draco held her tighter, giving her a worried look.
"Maybe we should take you back to your room and give you that Sleeping Draught," He suggested cautiously, giving his mate a worried look.
She tried to wave him off but she squeezed her eyes shut and sucked in a deep breath as a sharp pain nearly split her head in half. Draco grimaced and looked at the other two. "Yeah, I'm going to take her back to our suite. We'll visit later when she's awake and feeling better."
"Yeah, please go take care of her," Ginny said, waving them both off with a worried look on her face. "She probably shouldn't have come here before resting a bit."
"No, but you know how she is," Draco answered, rolling his eyes slightly while giving her a smile. "She wanted to make sure you were alright."
Without another word, he gently picked Hermione up off the bed, cradling her in his arms. He shushed at her protest, which was more of a long, whiney, "Nooooooo!"
Ginny let out a small laugh as she watched them go, picking at one of her fingernails in nervousness. Blaise looked over at her after the door shut behind Draco and Hermione, his brow furrowing.
"Why do you feel guilty, Gin?" He asked quietly.
She looked at him for a few moments before looking away. "She took so many curses, Blaise. She tried to make sure they would torture her instead of me, and probably has curse damage because of it."
"Would you have done the same for her?" Blaise asked.
This caught Ginny off guard and she glared at him. "Of course!"
"Then you know exactly why she did it," He explained, taking her hand and squeezing it. "She's going to be alright, Draco will make sure of that. And I know you will too; she's in very good hands regardless."
She smiled up at him and leaned in for a kiss, relishing that moment before resting her head against his chest. He had since nestled in the bed next to her, propped up somewhat higher than her so that she could lean against him. She didn't mind at all, and while they received looks from the Healers, none of them had said anything. Blaise was happy beyond words to have her back next to him, and with the knowledge that she was carrying their child now, he never wanted to let her go again.
