"Okay, try to not blurt out that we're expecting," Hermione said.

Draco grinned at her and nodded. They were getting ready to tell both sets of parents that night at Malfoy Manor over dinner, and Hermione was nervous, needless to say. It had been a month since they had found out, and while she wasn't showing just yet, she knew she was going to be soon.

"It'll be fine," Draco reassured her, pulling his wife into his arms. "I don't know why you're nervous right now."

"I couldn't tell you, honestly," She admitted into his chest. "I know they'll be excited, but..."

He kissed the top of her head and pulled away slightly, looking down at her. "There are no buts; they're going to be so excited and happy. Everything's going to be alright."

She smiled up at him and nodded, stepping up to give him a kiss before pulling away to grab her sweater. Then she paused and looked up with a worried expression. "What if they offer me a drink? If I don't take it, they'll know something's up."

Draco thought for a few moments before shrugging. "You can tell them you're fighting off a cold and shouldn't drink?"

She tilted her head back and forth as she contemplated the idea. "Yeah, okay that could work."

He chuckled. "You're thinking too hard. Come on, tonight's going to be a happy night."

"I know, I know..." She sighed and pulled the sweater on as she walked back to him. "Alright, I'm ready!"

He nodded and took her hand, smiling at her as he disapparated them away. They landed with two small pops in the foyer of the manor, Draco giving her another kiss on her temple before leading them back towards the sitting room. They could hear voices grow louder as they neared the room, and they were greeted with smiled when they entered.

"We were wondering when the two of you were going to show up!" Narcissa laughed, setting her wine glass down on the coffee table.

"Sorry, mother," Draco replied, walking over to her to give her a kiss on the cheek.

Hermione went to her parents who were on the opposite couch and gave them both hugs. Jean squeezed her daughter tightly and said, "We've missed you, sweetheart. You need to come on a trip with us one of these days!"

Hermione laughed and went to hug her father. "I know, I've been wanting to! The Ministry keeps me so busy though, but hopefully we'll be able to come along soon!"

She pulled away and went to embrace Narcissa, who squeezed her tightly and patted her shoulder. "It's so good to see you, dear."

Then Narcissa squinted her eyes, looking all over Hermione's face. "Are you alright, Hermione? You're looking a bit pale."

Hermione panicked and opened her mouth, closing it quickly. Draco quickly came to her rescue, coming up behind her and saying, "Hermione's been fighting off an illness this week. Something going around in her department, everyone's been sick apparently."

"Oh, well hopefully you'll feel better soon!" Narcissa patted her hands.

"I hope so too," Hermione said quickly, forcing a smile as she went to Lucius and gave him a quick hug.

"Your parents were just telling us of their travels to South America," Lucius announced happily. "I must say, it sounds beautiful! We may need to join you as well on some of your travels!"

"We would love that!" Jean smiled at the other two. Then she looked at her husband and continued, "Richard and I were just discussing possibly going on another skiing trip soon, and we were hoping Hermione was going to be going since she missed our last one."
