I woke up feeling warm and safe. I looked around wondering why and saw a pair of arms around my waist loosly since we were sitting and felt warm breath hitting my neck. I turned my head slightly and caught a glimps of Ashton sleeping with his mouth open slightly. I smile and look ahead again and see that we are in a room of some sort.

It was large and had pastel colored furniture. We're sitting in one of those fancy long chairs that are like a cushioned long chair. It was pink like the rest of the sofas and chairs. The walls were white with light blue and purple thin veils hanging all along the ceiling with fireflies in there for light. There were rugs of leaves and tables and other sorts of thing that you would find in a room. Though the only thing you don't usually find in a room is a large tree trunk that was in the middle of the room.

I look at Ashton's arms and see their full of scratches and gashes making my stomach turn. I carefully pull out my potion that Tiqula gave me. I stopped and looked at it and remembered that she said I could only use it once in the most dire need of help. So I put it back in my pocket and waited for Ashton to wake up.

It wasn't long for him to wake up. He at first sqeezed me closer to him but then tensed up when he noticed that I was there until he remembered. He looked around the room and groaned begining to fully wake up. He picked me up and got up himself lightly wincing with the use of his shoulder since it is still sore from the fight.

"Ashton..." I said touching the tree trunk thinking of something else entirely.

"Hm." Ashton said looking out the window that was once covered with a thick pink veil.

"Do think....it was.."

"Yes Carlynda. It was real. Shane used you to draw out your power and bring you to Home by brining you to him hotel which we are not allowed into. Meanwhile Ronda or whatever her name is was pretending to be my mother to spy on us." Ashton slammed his fist against the wall. "I couldn't protect myself, my family, my friends or you! I'm sorry I'm so fucking dumb and WEAK!!" He slammed his fist against the wall again.

"Ashton." I whispered taking ahold of his hand and lightly dragging him towards me. "You didn't know. None of us did."

He snatched his hand away from me. "How do I know if I don't have some sort of tracker?! Or what if you do?! We have been exposed to them for so long that we...we.." Ashton chocked up but it was obvious that he was trying to hide it.

Having enough of him beating himself up I slapped him across the face. "QUIT DOING THAT!!! What good are you doing any of those you love by attacking yourself?! At least you-you-you know your loved! At least you know you don't have to worry about hurting your loved ones!! It is not easy to live the way we do BUT that doesn't mean we have to wallow in our defeats cause we screwed up or something we didn't notice ended up hurting people! I bet there are people out there right now wondering 'What the fuck just happened?! I just attacked so and so but I didn't mean to!!' Can you imagen how they must feel?! All because of what that syco man has done!!" I scolded him knowing he needed a smack and scolding.

His reaction was just looking ahead which was off to the side of me since he froze his head in place where the impact of my hand caused his head to turn. His cheek was getting red and mine were red from tears and anger boiling through me. "Sorry." I breathed begining to wonder if I had smacked him harder than I intended. I walk around the tree to the door and walked out before Ashton could reply.

I walked down the cave like hallways until I reached a large room which had a fire place in the middle that had blue fire but it was warm not insanly just pleasent. I sat in one of their chairs that looked like they were cut straight out of a tree just staing into the fire. I continued to stare until someone's hands covered my eyes. "Guess who." said a weakened voice.
