Austin's P.O.V

Things became awkward once Alex and Callin had left, Zach had sat on the sofa stunned. After half an hour, Robert and Zach had left because they wanted to go to the mall, I wanted to stay at home. I lay in my bed staring up at the ceiling until my phone started ringing.

"Hello?" I mumbled into my phone

"Austin, she's gone!" It was Alex

I sat up "What do you mean she's gone?"

I knew instantly he was talking about Callin. I remembered how his mood suddenly changed when Callin kissed Zach yesterday.

"We got into an argument and she stormed upstairs to my room. I gave her some space and watched TV and when I went up to my room to check on her she was gone, with the window wide open." Alex stammered

I sighed. I had never seen Alex so stressed out in my life. Callin was putting so much stress on him and I was actually worried for him.

"She probably went for a walk or went to the corner shop, or maybe Luce's house?" I suggested, trying to make him feel better

"I just hope she didn't sneak off to a party like she used to do every night, and get absolutely hammered. I had to help her everday for school because she wouldn't be completely sober..." Alex whispered.

Alex needed to calm down. I didn't think Callin would go and get drunk because of an argument, but I didn't know her very well. I had only known her for about two days which isn't very long.

"Don't worry, she will be back soon, don't worry too much she will be fine." I said reassuringly

Alex then sighed and said goodbye before hanging up the phone. As I lay back on my bed, I heard a knock on my bedroom window. I bolted upright to see someone at my window, probably one of the boys, but I was wrong when I opened the window to see Callin in front of me.

"Why the hell are you at my window? " I snapped

Callin rolled her eyes at me "Well good morning sunshine, I was out for a jog and I left my jacket at your house so I came to reclaim it."

I looked down at what she was wearing and saw she was wearing sweats and red running trainers. I sighed and walked downstairs quietly, not wanting to wake Mom up. When I reached the living room I picked up her black leather jacket from the sofa and went back upstairs to find Callin sat on my window sill. I only just noticed she had a backpack slung over one shoulder

"What are you doing, running away?" I asked

I didn't think an argument between Alex and Callin could get this far...

She laughed "No, I am jogging to Luce's house and getting ready there."

She then opened my window before I could say anything else and crawled out, when I looked out she was gone...

Alex and I got out from my car, it felt good to drive again. I couldn't get what had happened earlier out of my head. Callin, taking her jacket and running off. She must of had guts if she had been walking the streets all night.

"She won't turn up today, I know she can't face them." Alex murmered

I wonder what actually happened, it must have been pretty bad if Callin didn't want to go back to school. There was a snigger, I turned to see Zach standing next to me. He was looking at something or someone, I followed his gaze and my heart stopped. There was Callin walking down the hall on her own with her head held high, she wore a red leather jacket with a black pleated skirt which swished from side to side when she walked.
