Austin's P.O.V
It was Callin's first day back at school, and as I had made an arrangement to drive Alex I also now had to take her. It was going to be awkward because the last time I saw her I called her a bitch and accused her of doing things she never did. She probably hated me. My plan today was to stay with the boys and keep away from Kim and Ian, as I wanted no drama. I just wanted everything to go back to normal and all the arguments to stop. I quickly pulled onto Alex's drive and texted him to let him know I was outside.
A few minutes passed before Alex opened the front door. He just wore jeans and a plain white top. He put his arm around someone, it was obviously Callin. Her long brown hair was pulled up into a messy high ponytail and she wore a white vest top with denim shorts. Over the top she wore Alex's checked shirt. She made her way to the car scowling. Alex opened the car door for her, then got into the passenger seat next to me.
"Morning Alex." I said. "Callin..."
"Mahone." She nodded at me.
She then began frustratingly tapping away at her phone. Alex turned the radio on as I drove down the street.
"Are you excited for the game tonight?" Alex asked with excitement in his eyes.
After school it was the first game of the season. Everyone was always excited and made a big deal. The only bad thing was that Ian was in the team so I had to work with him, and Kim would be there tonight cheering for us.
"Do I have to come tonight!" Callin whined from the back seat.
"Unless you want to walk home. Come on, Callin, it will be fun, seeing us boys in action." Alex said reassuringly.
"More like annoying, sweaty boys and little sluts that need to pull their skirts down." Callin snorted "Fine. I will come!"
"Good girl!" Alex cooed. Callin frowned and stuck her tongue out at him like a two year old.
A moment of silence passed before Alex spoke up again. "So, who is wearing your jersey today?"
I had completely forgotten that we had to give someone our jersey to wear on the first game of the season. I gave mine to Kim last time but we weren't dating and she would probably wear Ian's.
"Who is wearing yours?" I questioned Alex.
Callin raised her arm up. "Me!"
Of course she would. Alex didn't have a girlfriend or anyone he was interested in so of course he was going to give it to his cousin.
"You should just give it to a girl, maybe one of the nice ones from our Math class?" Alex suggested.
I pulled into the school car park. "Maybe."
The good thing about being part of the Foolish Four was getting the best car spaces because everyone liked us. After parking the car, Callin took off the checked shirt and gave it to Alex who put it in his bag. We walked into school together, Callin looked down at the floor to try and prevent people from seeing her face. Alex put his arm around her shoulder.
"Callin, you look fine, you look beautiful without makeup. You look like Aunt Ellen..." he whispered.
Callin nodded and looked up, giving Alex a smile before walking over to the locker her and Ian shared. When she had told me that she had really been in rehab for anorexia, it made me despise Ian and Kim. Alex got his jersey out ready to give it to Callin, but before he could go over to her, Ian was already speaking to her.
"Do you want to wear my jersey?" Ian said, holding out the jersey to her.
Callin looked at him blankly before snatching it from him and throwing on the floor. "No. Give it to Kim, I'm sure she would be happy to wear it."
