Austin's P.O.V
The tour had started off great. I was left physically drained after each show. But I just loved meeting my fans and performing on stage. My album came out three days before. It was crazy how far I had come. I spent my free time on the tour bus sleeping, or speaking to the dancers who I had actually become really close with. And I enjoyed being with my supporting acts, but it had caused issues.
Everyone thought I had a thing going on with Camila, one of the girls from Fifth Harmony. She was pretty and such a nice girl, but I didn't want a girlfriend. I just wanted to focus on my career and fans, and trying to forget the thoughts of Callin in the back of my head. Her smirk, her laugh would echo around my mind, memories would come flooding in and I would instantly miss her.
I just wanted to hear her voice, but I knew that her phone would have been taken away from her. And I didn't think she would want to speak to me, I would be the last person she would want to speak to. I was having one of those nights where I couldn't sleep and just laid there. There was no one to speak to at this time. Wishing, that the boys were here, I grabbed hold of my guitar, thinking of Callin. I began to strum my guitar and let the ideas flow...
* * *
"Austin!" I was shaken awake.
It took me a moment to realise where I was. I had fallen asleep holding my guitar with sheets of song lyrics scattered all around me. Dave raised an eyebrow at the mess but didn't bother to ask any questions.
"Austin, are you okay? You look terrible, shattered, please tell me you are getting sleep. I don't want you to die on us..." Dave asked, concerned.
For a moment I wanted to pour my emotions out to Dave, about how I felt so lonely and how I felt so much guilt and regret... but I couldn't let it get in the way. People were better off without me.
"I'm fine Dave, I was just writing a new song." I gave him a fake smile.
"Well, get changed. They have some good news for you downstairs. Everyone is excited." Dave tried to hide the excitement in his voice.
"Why can't you just tell me now? Dave, you know I hate surprises!" I complained.
"Stop whining, Mahone, trust me, when you find out the news you won't be in such a terrible mood." Dave sighed before leaving.
After Dave had left, I walked over to my mirror. Did I really look terrible? My face had heavy bags and a worn out expression on it. I tried to not let it get to me and got changed into some sweats before heading out of my tour bus to meet the others at the service station we had stopped at.
Dave was right. Everyone was excited, everyone was smiling and talking. At this time in the morning, no one was usually up. I never usually get up for the morning service station stop. My Mom was the first person to notice me, she pulled me into a hug and gave me a sloppy kiss.
"Mom!" I complained as I noticed as Camila was watching.
My Mom ignored me walked me over to a table. She grabbed hold of my hand, giving it a tight squeeze.
"You are probably wondering why everyone is so excited. Austin... we have gotten a surprise date added onto the tour. Honey, we are going to London!" Mom exclaimed.
I gasped. London. Only one thing came to my mind with the word 'London'. Callin Constancio, she would be in the same city as me... I had to try and push her innocent face out of my mind. Her big grey eyes were staring at me.
"Aren't you excited?" she asked, concerned.
"Yeah..." My voice came out shakily. "It's just I'm shocked."
My Mom had probably forgotten that Callin was there, or she just simply didn't know, like I hadn't. Just the thought of her being in the same city as me made my eyes water. If I was going there, I needed to see her, but it's whether or not she wanted to see me...
"Austin, are you okay? You look pale. If you think it's too much then I can simply speak to management and get them to cancel. Everyone would understand." Mom said, concerned.
"No, of course I want to go, I have never been to England. It's just Callin is there. Mom, she got sent back there. It will just be hard knowing that I would be near her, I just wish I could see her..." I said sadly.
My Mom pulled me into a tight hug, then she kissed the top of my head. She had liked Callin as well so she understood why I was so upset.
"You can see her. I will make sure you get a day off to see her. The poor girl must be lonely as none of her family lives in London. I bet she would be very happy to see you." Mom said, ruffling my hair "I will go and sort everything out now."
She got up quickly and went over to the table where my manager was sat. Her chair was quickly sat on by Camila. She gave me a big smile before pulling me into a tight hug.
"So, London? I am so excited, maybe we could go sight seeing together?" She asked shyly.
I looked over at my Mom. "As much as I would love to Camila, there is stuff I need to take care of in London. There is someone I need to see..."
She frowned. "Who is it? Is it another girl Austin, because if it is you know how I feel about you and I know that you obviously have feelings for me."
"Things are just complicated." I sighed.
She pressed her lips to my cheek. "Don't worry, Austin, I will wait for you..."
But did I want her to wait for me?
