Austin Mahone saved me...

I'm not going

Callin's P.O.V

Austin came rushing into the room, his face lit up like a child on Christmas Day. Things had been awkward since he basically called me a 'slut.' It just scared me that he could think of me that way. The thing that made me smile was that I noticed he was wearing the beanie I brought him. As soon as i saw it, I knew Austin would love it. He had a things for hats.

"Why are you so happy?" Robert asked, amused with how Austin was basically bouncing around the room in excitement.

"Guess who is going to a red carpet? Me! And I am taking you all as my dates. I wanted to surprise you and picked out your outfits. It's short notice but the event is tonight..." Austin grinned.

The boys started to get excited. I, on the other hand, became instantly agitated and self conscious. I didn't want to go. I didn't want anyone to see me, let alone know I existed.

I left the bus slowly and leant against it, wishing I had a cigarette in hand. It took my mind off of things, gave me something to do.

"Are you okay?" I turned to see Austin looking at me worriedly.

"I'm not going tonight." I stated.

Austin's eyes narrowed. "Why is that?"

It angered me; telling him time and time again that I was a fuck up. If he was seen with me his career would be over.

"If you are seen with me, Austin, they will look into me and see my record and your reputation and career would be ruined. Please don't let me bring you down!" I pleaded.

His fists clenched. "It's always about you! You never think about how I feel! You don't think about what I want, what I need. I am fed up of it now. Speak to me when you stop being so selfish!"

Shocked by his sudden outburst, my mouth parted. He just shook his head at me before starting to walk off. Before he got into the service station, he turned back.

"By the way, the dress I picked out for you is on your bed. It was a stupid idea. I shouldn't have even bothered." he muttered.

Before I could call him back to apologise, he was gone...

The boys had left half an hour ago. I just sat there, gazing at the beautiful dress Austin had picked out. The top half was sleeveless and was made from white silk. The skirt fell to the floor with black silk. The two colours were separated by a pearl belt. It was stunning.

"We can still go if you want... he would love it." Michele said hopefully.

I shrugged. "His fans will hate me. I'm a bad influence on him."

It was true. Austin couldn't be with me. I would only drag him down with my negativity. He knew I was bad news but didn't give up.

"His fans would love you. Some people might not like you, but the thing is, Callin, not everyone in life will like you. If you really cared about Austin, you wouldn't let it stop you from being happy." she said seriously.

I knew that by 'wouldn't let it stop you from being happy', she meant that I shouldn't let it stop us from being together. Did I care about Austin enough, though? I didn't just like Austin, I loved Austin. Us not being together wasn't just hurting me, it was also hurting him...

"We need to go there." I said, quickly grabbing the dress.

Michele smiled before leaving to go and get ready. I knew what I needed to do. It was time for me to confess my feelings to Austin, and hope he felt the same way. Leaving my hair in waves, I put my usual dark makeup on before slipping into the dress. As the dress was floor length, I kept my black converses on and went to find Michele. She was in a silk red dress. She was beautiful, as usual.

"He's going to be so happy to see you! Callin, you look beautiful!" she gushed as we got into the car.

Michele made small talk in the car, making sure I stayed calm. When we arrived, there was actually a red carpet sprawled all over the floor. Michele spoke to people before turning to me and beckoning me over.

"When we go past this barrier, there will be cameras. Just stay calm." Michele told me.

She took my hand before guiding me out. I took a deep breath as the cameras started flashing. There were fans shouting for Austin, and calling out to Michele. My grip on her hand tightened. Michele guided me through the crowd quickly, and soon we were safe. The first person I saw was Robert.

"Cal, you decided to come!" he pulled me into a hug. "You look beautiful."

"Thanks, Rob. Do you know where Austin is?" I asked.

"Yeah, he just went outside with Camilla for an interview. Go catch up with them." He pushed me towards the door.

This was it. As I stepped back outside, I spotted Austin immediately. It took me back to Austin and I going to the Dance together. He had always looked good in a suit. He stood there, grinning and laughing while being interviewed with Camila by his side batting her eyelashes and giggling at every word he said. Suddenly, they turned to look at each other. Camila instantly pressed her lips to his.

I gasped as Austin responded. My chest felt heavy as I started struggling to breathe. As they pulled away, she snaked her arms around Austin's waist. When she noticed me, she smirked. That's when I lost it. Not caring about the fans and the cameras, I stormed over there, ignoring Alex's pleas for me to come back. Ripping Camila off Austin, I glared at him with my fists clenched. Before I could stop myself, I swung for his face.

"Fuck you, Mahone. I came here for you. I came as I finally had the confidence to let you in and confess my feelings, but it's obvious you don't feel the same. So thanks for leading me on. Don't bother coming after me this time, I'm leaving you for good!" I screamed.

Ignoring the flashing lights of the paparazzi, I let tears of frustration fall from my eyes. As Austin tried to reach out for me, I shoved him away and ran off.

Never let anyone in...
