Austin's P.O.V

Everyone decided that we should spend the day at my house, Zach and Robert were meeting us back there. I glanced over at Callin who was staring down at her phone with a blank expression on her face. No one could tell what she was thinking, apart from Alex. I had to admit she was beautiful, she looked different to every other girl because of her dark hair and pale skin, everyone had commented on how she had lost so much weight. I couldn't comment as I didn't know her before she left.

Alex didn't speak he was focused on the road. He helped me out on the first day of school and showed me around. After I watched the team play basketball and get thrashed, I offered my help and knowledge, that's how I met the rest of the boys. We bonded very quickly and were so close. It must have been awkward for Callin as she was the only girl in the group. She did know the other boys really well and had history with Zach, and everyone knew about her relationship with Ian.

I had to admit Ian was a nice guy, he would speak to me sometimes in the hallways and would compliment my songs when I had to play them to the class. As well as basketball, music was a big part of my life. One of the reasons why I moved schools was because I was bullied for making music and posting videos on youtube. Nobody got me, it got so bad that my Mum suggested that we should move away. I am relieved we moved because now I have friends who actually like me for who I am and understand me.

Alex pulled into my driveway where my car was waiting for me. I had missed it so much, not that liked driving with Alex, but things were now awkward with Callin in the picture. I jumped out of the car while Alex was still driving and ran over to the car examining it, the tires were fixed and looked completely new.

"I guess you won't be needing a lift tomorrow..." Alex said, coming up from behind me

I grinned "I owe you, I am driving from now on."

Alex threw his hands up "At least I don't have to pay for petrol"

I laughed and unlocked the front door. Callin had now caught up with us, kneeling against the wall and hugging herself with Zach and Robert behind her.

"Can't you drive?" Alex asked

Callin rolled her eyes "You can't get your drivers licence until the age of seventeen in England, I am still sixteen you dope! "

I laughed because even I knew that. Zach and Robert joined in while Callin's phone went off, she held it up, scowling down at the screen. She muttered something under her breath and stuffed the phone back into her pocket.

"We might as well fill you in on the school gossip so you know what is going on for tomorrow. " Robert suggested

Callin sighed "Go on, tell me the latest scandals then."

Robert cleared his throat " Well you see your old friend Luce well... She is now best friends with Kim Wild and is now one of the cheerleaders."

"You have got to be kidding me?" Callin snorted "The only reason we became friends was because we both hated Kim Wild and cheerleaders!"

Alex shot Callin a look of sympathy while she hissed curses under her breath. Zach then pulled out his phone and started texting with a grin on his face. After an awkward scilence, I opened the front door and walked into the kitchen where my Mum was sat watching tv while eating. She greeted the boys and was suprised we had brought a girl back to the house when she saw Callin.

"Are you Alex's girlfriend or has my Austin finally gotten better taste in girls?" She questioned

While Callin burst into fits of laughter, my cheeks flushed pink "Mom!"
