Austin's P.O.V
Alex and I slouched back on his sofa after two hours straight of playing on the X Box.
"Shall I order Pizza?" Alex said getting his phone out.
I nodded my head as Alex went into the kitchen. He knew my order off by heart. He also knew that pizza was my favourite. It was strange to think that I had become friends with Alex over a pair of trainers. The door flew open, revealing the Callin accompanied by the girl I met at the game a week ago. Callin flopped onto the sofa next to me, grabbed the remote and turned the channel to Keeping up with the Kardashians. Her friend slowly sat next to me, giving me a small smile.
"Where is Luce?" I asked as it was usually her that always came home with Callin.
"She is too busy with Zach... and before you say anything, I did warn her." she sighed.
It seemed as if Luce had agreed to the whole 'friends with benefits' situation with Zach. Everyone knew it was going to end badly but it was annoying how they were always spending time together. I couldn't say anything about the situation as, like Zach, I have had my fair play of girls.
"I am trying to help her and she just keeps on choosing not to listen to me. I know she knows it is going to end badly." Callin said, her eyes fixed on the television.
After her speech, she slowly yawned. She had been kept behind most days after school, working with the cheerleaders. I could tell she wasn't happy working with them, but she got on with it. After a while of silence and everyone watching the latest Kardashian scandal unfold, Alex finally joined. He looked slightly suprised when he saw Sarah sat on the sofa. His eyes quickly scanned her body before he let out a cough. Callin grinned at him in amusement.
"Sarah, this is my cousin Alex. Alex, Sarah. She's new to the school." Callin said quickly, introducing the pair.
Sarah's cheeks flushed as she struggled to greet him. Callin smirked at me, amused. Alex grinned and nodded at her before sitting down next to me and turning his attention to his cousin.
"How was practice?" He asked.
Callin let out a frustrated groan. "I had to basically make a new routine. Kim seems to think that they can just twerk for two minutes to a random song!"
Of course only Kim would think that that would be okay. After a moment, I remembered what she had done to me and pushed all thoughts of Kim Wild from my mind.
"I understand why, it must be entertaining." Alex grinned lost in thought.
"Yeah for perverted teenage boys!" Callin said in disgust.
"If you were a boy, you would understand." Alex argued.
"Well I am not a boy, I am a girl." she said, rolling her eyes.
The pair carried on arguing, annoying me and making Sarah shift uncomfortably in her seat.
"Can you two just stop? As much as we would love to watch cheerleaders twerking, we don't want that representing our team. I think it's good that Callin is switching things up, now let's leave the situation and talk about something else." I snapped.
There was an awkward scilence after my sudden outburst. Callin was pretending to watch the television while biting her bottom lip.
"So, did you hear about the End of Year Dance?" Sarah said, breaking the silence.
"I'm not going." Callin said, folding her arms across her chest.
Apparently the last End of Year Dance was hectic, it's where everyone in the school got dressed up. It's like prom but it's for the whole school, you could go with or without a date. I always thought I would be taking Kim...
