So here's Chapter 20 :)
I'll be posting up what their clothes look like for the Winter Formal in the next chapter.
Having some writer's block at the moment x_______x
Enjoy ^__^
“Kat, who’s your date going to be?” Carly asks.
“I plan to go with Kellin, why?”
“Oh damn just like Helena and Peter, remember them?” Melanie says.
“Jesus Christ, how could I forget? They were the damn power-siblings” Carly replies.
I feel so lost right now. “Who are they exactly?”
“They’re siblings, just like you and Kell, but graduated over three years ago. And might I say super hot, anyways, Peter was like Helena’s guard dog. He rarely let any guy get close to her. Long story short, you guys remind us a lot about them.”
Then Austin passes by. “Crap okay, gotta go” I rush out and ran after him.
“Hey Austin!”
He turns around. “Hey Kat” he smiles and embraces me.
“Say do you have a date for the Winter Formal?” He shook his head. “Oh great, see I have this friend and we made a deal, but she doesn’t have a date, so will you go with her?”
“What’s her name and what does she look like?” he laughs.
“Her name’s Grace, and here” I scroll through my pictures and found her face.
“Oh, she’s gorgeous. Alright, I’ll take her. Can I meet her?”
“Come to work with me after school and I’ll introduce you to each other”
“Awesome, oh and Kat, I know this is a rough topic but, fight it and win okay?”
“How did you know about that?” My voice rose a bit and startled him.
“Your brother, he’s my classmate for 2nd period, he was talking about to me about it. Don’t worry know one else will know.”
I nod and embraced him. Soon the lunch bell rings signaling the beginning for third period. I sighed and walked in. More people piled in, and soon Carly’s face stood out. We didn’t really do much in class. Walker felt lazy to teach, so Carly and I ended up talking about the Winter Formal. She mentions that the theme would be masquerades.

“So Austin, you taking a college freshie huh. Didn’t know you had game” Kellin wiggles his eyebrows.
We were on our way to Forever 21, and Kellin will not shut up. “Well yeah, but I want to meet her first at least, get to know her and then see how it goes”
“Oh yeah Kell, Grace says we’re going to the Men’s Warehouse on Sunday”
I’m somewhat excited for the Winter Formal. Everyone would be in beautiful gowns and suits. The thoughts made me smile, but at the same time it broke my heart. Three days after the Winter Formal, we’re heading down to Reno. That’s the part where, I get a full body analysis, what I should do and what I should avoid and so on.

Ah, the Men’s Warehouse. The Forever 21 for guys, their haberdashery, and we were all here. By we, I meant Kellin, Austin, Grace and myself. The guys were picking out their shoes, while Grace and I picked their tuxedos.
I found and paid for Kellin’s tux; it was easy since he didn’t really care. I see Grace desperately trying her best to find a size for Austin. He’s a big dude – a 6’3’’ and sort of buff dude to be exact.
“So you excited for the formal?” Kellin mumbles, playing around with a top hat.
“I guess so. What’s it like?” He went to his junior formal. He wanted to me to be his date, but I refused.
“Fun, lively, lots of food and dancing”
He sits down on the floor next to me. We watched how Grace’s eyes lit up as she found the perfect black tie. She pretty much shoves Austin in a stall just for him to put it on. He stepped out a few minutes later. Hmm well not bad. After the little show, they paid up and we got out of there.
“So guys, where to next?” Austin asks, we took his car.
“Taco Bell!” Grace exclaims. She looks back at Kellin and I and we just shrugged.

Gosh today was fun, but damn tiring. I snuggled under the sheets and let the cool air hit my head. Kellin’s room will forever be my little heaven. The door opens, the space next to me became occupied, and soon I met the emerald eyes I grew up with.
“Kat, how are you feeling?”
“Normal”
“How’s the bruising?”
“Starting to fade out, I guess the medicine’s doing its job”
He smiles weakly at me. “Good, how about the nosebleeds?”
“They happen less now”
“The pain in your bones?”
“Slowly getting better”
He breathes in deeply and exhaled slowly. “How did I forgive you when you ripped my poster?” he asks.
“You didn’t, not talking to me got the best of you and you snapped and apologized to me” I laughed.
“Oh wow, how could I not remember that?”
“Maybe you’re thirty seconds too old” I giggled.
“You little prick, whatever, let’s get some sleep”
I rarely nodded. Today’s just really tiring.

The girls have been awfully busy, it kind of bothered me since I wanted to hang out with them. But at the same time, I understand. I mean the whole school’s expecting something extravagant. Someone taps my shoulder, and then covered my eyes.
“Guess who?”
I smiled, and I guess sorta blushed. “Whatever Mark”
“So I heard you’re goin’ to the formal”
“Yeah I am, how about you?”
“I am too, with Isaac and the others. Who’s your date?”
“Kellin, duh. Yours?”
“That senior girl I’ve been telling you about”
“Say, you never told me her name.” I raise a brow at him.
“She doesn’t school here anyways so, no point in telling you” he laughs.
“Ah, alright.”
“How are you doing?”
I knew he’d ask. “Feeling okay, I guess that the medicines’ are starting to work”
“Great, you promised Kat, you’ll fight back right?”
We were at my 4th period class now. I look up at him and nodded. He smiles, but it looked really sad and broken. I don’t know how else to describe it really. Moments passed, and the bells rings again. He quickly hugs me, and then walked away.
I don’t know why, but something inside hurt a lot, and that’s just from seeing him walk away.
