Ok so before I start this I wanna let you know that I'm getting my computer back on the 11th, and have a mythic butt ton of parts to upload. Another author is letting my post their Kleinsen oneshots in this book, so I'll tell you when those are, and I'm sorry I haven't updated sooner tbh ok let's gOO
Also this isn't edited yet so prepare your eyes for a very long paragraph.

Around end of May, going into June, Connor had an idea. Graduation was nearing, and Evan was staying late at school for Nature Club today, so Connor would make Evans favorite dessert, his moms Apple Crumble Bars. The boy started gettin gout many ingredients, including milk, eggs, flour, sugar, and apples of course. He threw the things for the filling in, grabbed a whisk and started stirring. It was at this time that Evan walked in, Connor to wrapped up in the bars to notice. No one had told Evan that Nature Club was cancelled today, so he sat in the art room for 30+ minutes waiting for the club to show up. Anyways. As he walked into the kitchen, he saw his boyfriend mixing together what looked like a better of some sorts, Connor still not seeing him. Evan walked in, putting a hand on either of Connors shoulders and with a soft smile plastered on his face.
"What are you making?" Evan questioned. Now keep in mind Connor had not expected Evan home for another hour at the very least, so when he was asked this, he jumped in fear, throwing the which across the room and splattering filling onto the walls and floor.
"E-Evan! You're home early, what happened with Nature Club?" Connor had swiveled around at this point, making a desperate attempt to keep the dessert a secret, but to no avail.
"Canceled, forest fires everywhere. But that, sir procrastinator, does not answer my question." It was just adorable to Evan how Connor was denying baking something other than pot.
"Well, graduation is coming up you see. And you've been working really hard this past month or so, and this was going to be a surprise, but..." he slid to the side to reveal and index card labeled, "Heidi's Apple Crumble Bars." Evans favorite.
"Aw babe, you're making crumble bars?"
"Well you've improved a lot this last year, you deserve a treat."
"Connor Murphy, what did I ever do to deserve you?" Evan said as he rushed over to hug the taller. Connor set down the bowl he was holding and hugged him back. After a bit, Evan helped Connor finish the bars, and as they enjoyed their treats They watched "Finding Nemo" until both boys fell asleep on each other.
