I looked to Luna, following her as she held the little girl in her arms. Everyone stayed silent for a few moments, itching quietness to turn into small conversations.

I looked to the little girl, beaten and bruised - she was exactly how Bella and I used to be - how Caleb and Luna were. And nobody deserves to be like that. Not even people like her.

We led her through the small cabin, just in time to hear Bella's door open. I looked up and smiled. "Go back to bed, Bella. Everything's fine down--ah!" I stopped when I felt Bella run past me and look into Luna's eyes, and then to Laurel's, as if she was insane.

"Laurel?" She asked, her voice cracking.

The little girl in Luna's arms looked over and immediately dropped down to the ground, looking at my sister. "Bella?" She asked.

There was silent for a moment and then they connected in a hug, pulling each other tight and letting tears fall over each other's shoulders. Luna and I stayed quiet, staring.

"I missed you so much!" Bella voiced loudly, digging her nails into her shirt as she cried in her shoulder, "I thought I'd never see you again!"

"Bella--I..." Laurel could barely speak as she kept the girl close to her, safe - in front of her.

"How do you know each other?" I asked in surprise as they began speaking, Luna in the same state I was.

"Laurel helped me when I went to Harper's group." Bella admitted, now breaking the hug and staring into her eyes. "I love you, Laurel!"

"I love you too, Bella!" Laurel said through a shaky voice, her hands shaking and tears rolling down her face.

I smiled, but it wasn't for long, considering Jinxx took a look at us and groaned. "Awww, so fucking cute. Now can you please send the betrayer to bed? She's causing a ruckus and the last thing we need is some more walkers to find out where we're staying."

I gritted my teeth, but stayed quiet. "Anything for you" I felt myself saying slyly under my breath, as he gave me a glare.

"What was that?"

I sighed, "Nothing, Jinxx. Nothing." I said as I took Bella's hand and brought her back to her room. "You guys can talk tomorrow, okay? For now you both need to go to bed. Laurel, I'll be in your room in a minute to check your vitals and stuff, okay?"

She looked confused, but nodded as Luna picked her up again and began to bring her to the other room.

Bella looked up at me as I dragged her to her own. "Does Jinxx hate me?" She whispered slightly.

I smiled back, "oddly, I think you're the only one he likes." I admitted. She smiled and then pulled me in a tight hug as I opened the door to her room.

"I missed you so much, Lynne." She said with misty eyes that I found myself capturing soon too.

"I missed you so much too, Bella." I replied, holding her hand and stroking some of her blonde hair, "I missed you so much."

"Please promise me you'll never leave me again." She said.

I swallowed air and gently gave her a laugh, "I promise, Bella."
