"I don't wanna move again," Bella said to me as we sat around the table, eating. I shook my head, sighing.
"We have to," I replied, standing up and grabbing Bella's plate along with my own to put away, "you know that."
"But it's stupid that we have to keep running!" She whined, Laurel agreeing while running a hand through her hair.
"Yeah! It's stupid. We have something safe here." Laurel complained.
"Both of you, quit it," Lisa said, "If we were able to stay here, we would, but we can't. Stop complaining, or else nothing will be done."
Bella crossed her arms and nodded, as I chuckled under my breath.
"So when are we deciding to head out?" I asked.
"Tomorrow night," Luna said, sighing, and leaning her head tiredly on Mark's shoulder. It was silent for a minute and then I looked to Laurel and Bella.
"You finished?" I asked them, as they gave me a nod. "Up to your rooms."
"Why do you keep us hostage in there?" Bella asked.
"Because this is not appropriate for you to hear." I said, pointing to the upstairs, "come on, now."
"Fine." Bella huffed out, standing up from her chair and groaning as her and Laurel made their way to their rooms.
As much as I loved Bella being happy, I didn't appreciate how Bella acted when she was around Laurel.
"Do we know where we're going?" I asked, sitting back down in my chair, next to Lisa.
"We're going to a barn a little out of the city. Away from any herds." Luna said, "we're going to have to plan how we're going to get there in groups, though."
"A hundred walkers killing us wouldn't be iddeal." I joked, laughing gently under my breath.
"We're going to need three groups. The ones in the front - Mark, Blake, and I, and the back guards - that can be Jinxx, Madelyn, Lisa, and Lynne. In the middle, we're gonna have the kids and Stacey."
"Sounds good." Madelyn said, holding the gun that was by her side, "we're going to get everything ready and leave tomorrow?"
"Yeah. So take whatever you want. 'Cause we're not coming back for anything. This place is dead." Luna said.
We all exchanged nods, and I sighed, shaking my head. "I'll make sure the girls are ready tomorrow." I said as we all separated.
"We're going to find our place," Lisa comforted, and I nodded knowingly as I leaned my head on her shoulder.
"I hope so," I said.
