Moving on was going to be hard. We got what little things we had out of our base and packed up our bags and left as quick as we could. Guess the road was always going to be our home.
"Who the Hell was that?" Jinxx asked after a while of walking down the road. I looked to him as did most of the group. "Why did he know you can Caleb?" He asks and I look to the floor.
I don't think I wanted to tell them my dark past yet. It was something that I never thought I'd have to bring up, let alone tell the group. Maybe one day I would have told Mark or Lynne.
Jinxx seemed to get mad by the second as I stayed silent, looking to the floor. Mark stood next to me, shooting Jinxx a look, which Jinxx returned to him.
"You know him and you let him kill them." Jinxx said, stopping in front of me. I stopped and the group seemed to follow my lead. "You killed them." He says and Lynne goes to stop him as I press my nails into my palms to stop them from shaking.
"Jinxx, shut the fuck up." Mark said but Jinxx ignored him, glaring at me. I could feel the stares of the people. It was like the dead were looking at me as well, I felt nothing but guilt as Jinxx spoke.
"No I will not shut up. Not till she tells us who the Hell James was." He says and I look him in the eye. James was someone that I thought died out there, guess he came back to haunt me like my other demons.
"Not here." I say and he growls, saying that I was just being a bitch. "You know what? Go to Hell Jinxx." I say before a loud clap sounded out and I stumbled back from Jinxx and everyone seemed to be frozen in shock at what just happened.
Jinxx had just slapped me. "It's all your fault!" He yelled at me as I placed my hand to my cheek where he slapped me. I looked to him and before anyone else could move, I pulled out my python from the holster and pointed it at Jinxx.
His eyes were full of anger and shock that I had pulled a gun on him. My hands shook as I pointed the gun between his eyes. "Do not test me. Jinxx Aaron Trends." I growled, venom dripping in my words. "If there weren't children here I'd blow your brains out." I say before a hand comes to mine and gently lowers the gun from Jinxx's face.
I look to see Mark, trying to calm me down before I turned and shrugged off his hold, walking away from the group and into the woods.
