I woke up with a shooting pain in the back of my head, my eyes forced shut as I refused to make them open. The throbbing sensation of what seemed like blood flowing down my skin was warm, though I knew there was nothing of the sorts.

Somebody squeezed my hand softly, and I fluttered my eyelids open, a breeze of cold air hit my face. When I looked beside me, I noticed Bella was gripping my hand with fear in her eyes, her shaking foundation trembling under the feeling of everyone's eyes on her.

I didn't notice my ears ringing until I turned around and felt the cold feeling of a metal gun pushed towards me.

Luna was next to Mark, kneeling down the same way we were and her eyes still, broken marbles. I couldn't help but hold my breath.

"Is that the last one?" The man next to me asked, holding a gun to Luna's head. The lineup was distinct.

Alex, Ben, and Stacy - they were next to each other, holding each other close to them and wrapping their arms between each other's.

Mark and Luna were followed next to Rhys, Jinxx, and Madelyn- leaving Laurel, Lisa, Bella and I next to each other, all carrying a similar state of fear.

"That's 'em all." The man holding a gun to the back of my own head said, "'bout time. None of them wanted to wake up. Not sure why, they should all be so excited to see us."

"Excited." I scoffed under my breath. By the time I noticed my mistake, I was already thanking the Gods that nobody heard me.

"Oh, don't all jump at once." The man in the front of the room sarcastically said, "Let's do introductions. I'm James, and you are?"

Everyone stayed silent, like someone had just let out a large shot.

"I said," the man commented as he cocked his gun and aimed it at our heads, "Introduce yourselves. I want you all to know why you're here. You must be important, you know. Traveling with this one." He pointed his gun to Luna, "speaking of which - where's the other Shadow twin? Shouldn't he be here? You guys were always attached hip--."

"He's dead." Luna said coldly.

James stopped dead in his tracks. "...Damn, that hurts." He said, putting his hand to his chest, "you could've told me to sit down first."

Silence followed, and he gave a wicked smirk. "I always loved the little guy. How'd he die anyway?"

"He died from a little bitch named Harper." Jinxx screamed, "and we're going to do the same thing to you that we did to her if you don't back the fuck up and let us go right now!"

The man raised an eyebrow and then pointed to the men who were aiming guns at our heads. "Cock 'em, boys. Put them to eye level. If anyone tries anything, I wanna see their brains splatter the walls."

Bella cried out as she gripped my hand tighter. Lisa looked to her, whispering softly. "Bella, stay quiet. It's going to be okay." She said.

I looked up to her and then back to James, who was pointing his gun at everyone. "You, your names." He said as he referred to Stacy and her small family. They looked fearful as Ben held her arm.

"S-Stacy." Stacy said delicately, "and Alex. And Ben." She pointed to her dad and then to her small son, who was looking up with the most scared eyes I could imagine.

"You." He pointed to Mark. "I already know this little lady over here."

"Mark." He said with a glare in his eyes, his anger hissing through his soft voice that was protecting.

"Rhys, Madelyn, Jinxx." Madelyn said before he even got to her, "But I bet you knew that already, didn't you?" Her voice was a scowl.

He looked to me, Lisa, and the two girls by our side.

"I'm Lisa, that's Bella, Laurel, and Lynne." She said. The man's proud smirk was planted on his face.

"Good." He said, "see? Was that so hard? Now we know each other on a name basis for when you work for us."

"We're not working for you, James. Let us go, now!" Luna demanded, and he gave a small chuckle as he shook his head.

"Oh, you better watch your mouth, missy. Things like that - they don't fly here. I can already tell you have a group better than what we had when I was with y'all."

"You were obsessive and scary from what I heard." Madelyn said back in a harsh voice, "They hated you. They hated you so--."

"That's it, I'm done talking!" James shouted, which made me wince back from his dark voice. There was silence for a minute and then Luna spoke in a very gentle tone.

"I'm gonna kill you." She whispered.

James perked.

"What?" He asked.

"I'm gonna kill you. Not today, not tomorrow. But I'm...I'm going to kill you, James Mason." She said as he got close to her face, themselves eye to eye and their souls burning in anger and tension.

"Hm." James said, his face frozen before he smiled, "Good luck with that, baby girl."

He got up and looked to the people holding the guns to our heads. "That's it, time to start having fun. We need punishment for a comment like that."

He grabbed the Katana Luna had - the ones they stole from us when he knocked us out. "Let's see who wants to die."
