(A/N): Sorry. This is a long one.
"Kenma, can you text me your address again...?" You nervously giggled, hearing a breathy sigh from the other end of the phone call as you pictured what you thought your boyfriend was currently doing, which was probably rubbing his stressed temples.
You and Kenma first met at a Internet cafe where you spent most of your time, listening to music or doing homework. You saw the pudding head playing one of your all time favourite games and decided to approach him . Since then, you two often geeked out over games and bonded quite quickly. Splitting you two up was proved to be quite difficult. It was only last month when he confessed to you and you guys started dating but his parents were very persistent on meeting you.
"I will. Just please hurry up. You're already late." Kenma pleaded weakly as you proceeded to put on your coat and walk out of your house.
"I'll be there in a few minutes. I promise." You reassured him before hanging up the call.

Ringing the doorbell of the Kozume household, you did some last minute checks on your appearance using the window as a mirror.
Kenma was your first serious boyfriend and you really did not want to mess things up because his parents did not approve of you. Therefore, you wore the most impressive clothing you own, bought the prettiest bouquet you've ever seen and vowed to yourself that you weren't going to be failure and be on your best behaviour.
Though with your clumsy and careless nature, you hoped that vow can be kept.
The door opened and stood before you was your dashing prince of a boyfriend who was wearing a light blue shirt and a black tie, something you didn't think he owned for some reason.
"(F/N)." Kenma welcomed you in with a hug before swinging the door shut. "Y-you... look beautiful." You found it cute, every time he stutters when complimenting you.
"You look pretty amazing yourself. I didn't think you wore stuff like this. Thought it was just hoodies and sweatpants."
"To be honest... I was going to wear a hoodie but my mom caught me and made me wear this instead." Kenma mumbled quietly as he gestured towards his outfit. "So you're stuck with this rare sight."
"Well, I'm not really complaining." You were about to give him another embrace but a deep masculine voice stopped you two.
"So she finally arrives." The tall man said, walking towards us with a scowl plastered on his face. He honestly kind of terrified you and Kenma instantly knew how you were feeling from the way you were squeezing his hand.
"Dad. Stop that. She's our guest."
"Kenma's right hun. Give the girl a break. It must of been frightening for her to travel alone at night, especially when she's not familiar with the place." A young woman held onto Mr Kozume's arm in a loving manor before flashing me a kind smile. "It's nice to meet you, (F/N)-chan"
You bowed and greeted her back by giving her the bouquet you bought. "It's nothing much but I hope these make up for my inexcusable tardiness."
"Indeed they do." Mrs Kozume took the flowers off you and sniffed them lightly. "Come into the dining area. We can talk more freely there." Everyone followed her while you felt Kenma lace his fingers with yours.
"It's going to be fine."
