Hello. I'm back with another answered request. How exciting!
This was requested by @Boke_Hinata_Boke23
I didn't know if this was supposed to be headcanons or not so I just wrote a story instead. Tendo might seem out of character at times. I have never written for him before but I hope you do enjoy reading it as much as I had fun writing it and I hope you're feeling okay now.
The morning sun, glowing hues of orange and reds, peeked behind the hazy blanket of clouds that dominate the patchy blue skies, similar to an artist flicking colours on to a canvas with a paintbrush. The clouds continued to move above as you walked underneath it. They seemed so close that you could touch it, feeling it circle each of your fingers, pecking them softly. Despite the sun was shining it's warmth profusely down on its family of planets, it was still quite cold and humid as if the fluffs of white were doing everything in their power to keep you chilled to the bone, reflecting it back into outer space for the fellow aliens to embrace in.
You didn't mind, of course.
You preferred the cooler temperature. All you had to do to keep yourself nice and toasty was wear some layers which included the reliable puffy coat you had since the start of school, some hand-me-down mittens and a woolly beanie though most of the strings were antennas sticking out. You still loved wearing it.
You walked down the narrow pathway with your bag leaning against your back, having a very relaxed trip while you trumped your feet through the mush of wet dirt and leaf, hearing a quiet crackle every so often.
Daily, you never intend to travel to school by yourself but under certain circumstance, you were taking a solo adventure, admiring the scenery around you, feeling its appreciation. Even on a gloomy Friday morning, the world seemed so colourful and bright, fighting against the negativity it constantly floods itself in.
Sadly, you couldn't do the same for yourself. That glimmer of hope was extinguishing as the hours past and you had no idea how long it would survive.
Voice was now beginning to ease itself into your ears as you walked back on to the main path, seeing your fellow classmates greet each other with a hug or a handshake. You only stared at them, still feeling quite empty but you heard someone call out your name. A very familiar voice indeed.
"(F/N)!" Arms snaked around your waist, your feet left the ground. You were being twirled around on the spot and you knew exactly who the culprit was.
"Tori-kun, stop. I'm getting dizzy." You asked but the boy was reluctant to land the space shuttle back on earth, especially without a sense of achievement. He wasn't going to stop until you laughed and you rightfully did, causing him to smirk before setting you down and wrapping his arm around your shoulder, pulling you in into his care.
Meanwhile, you were recovering; your head was spinning like a broken cuckoo clock, ready for the wooden oak bird to spring out of your head.
"How many times have I told you not to do that?" You scolded the redhead, cradling your head in your hands before hearing your boyfriend laugh at the state of you.
"Sorry. Sorry. I can't help it! You're just too cute." Tendo gleamed. He pecked you on the cheek which was now deep red. You were surprised by his first move but then he carried on! He peppered you with kisses all over your face. You knew he was teasing you, especially since you hated Pda but you had to admit.
It was a fabulous way to start the day.
Soon after, you grabbed his chin, pulling him down so that you press your lips on to his, just to shut him up as you continued to walk together closer to the school.
