Gavin hadn't a clue what to do in the slightest, firstly he had met a incredibly handsome merman?? And secondly he had no capable way of getting back to shore without lack of water he thought. So basically water is oxygen to them, Gavin would actually be able to breathe out of the water but it'd take practice but no one was there to tell him that. Now you see because Gavin wasn't smart enough to go follow Conan he instead decided to go in a different route next beneath the dock and fall asleep until morning.
Gavin stretched and yawned out loudly screaming when he remembered that he was still under the water, he looked around and noticed he was still where he rest the night before he tried to call for help but all that came out was sobbing and whining. Gavin grabbed his knees and wept until he saw something swimming towards him.
This is a short chapter because I'm struggling with my college work too sorry guys x
