It was quiet. Too quiet. "Juliette, my dear, where have you been? I've been so worried about you!", her father yelled. He gave her a tight hug. She didn't say anything. She felt empty. "Juliette, my child, what has gotten into you? You're so silent.", your father exclaimed.

"I'm tired. That's all.", she said dryly. She didn't feel like talking. Words can be written too so she went up, grabbed a piece of paper and wrote on the things that bothered her. She felt so much better afterwards. Like her mind can finally have the rest it deserves.

There was a knock on the door. "There's a young man for you at the door. He says his name is Angela— no, was it Edward? No, it was something different. Anyways, he's here to see you." "Enjolras?" "Does it really matter?" She laughed.

She walked downstairs. "Bonjour Enjolras. What can I do for you?" "Tell me what happened", he said dryly. "I was attacked. Didn't see their faces. Combeferre found and took care of me.", she explained. "Courfeyrac is worrying. I know him. You must be something really important to him. Usually he has a fling with a girl and 3 days later he forgot his name. But you. He knows your name.", Enjolras said.

"I don't see how this is supposed to be related to me. Yes, he knows my name. So?" "You don't get my point then." "Maybe you should explain yourself better then.", she remarked. She wasn't up for joking around. And Enjolras was already annoying her.

"Mademoiselle, the point is, he is deeply in love with you. If he could, he would spend his entire life with you. But he is afraid that he can't. He will fight on the Barricade and hell, even we don't know when we will build the barricade.", Enjolras explained.

"I don't know what you want to tell me now. I know that Courfeyrac loves me. He has told me many times before."
"He's scared that you'll die and he will never find out. He wants you to be safe." "I'm always safe." "Last night you weren't." Enjolras had a point. She wasn't safe last night.

"I have to leave now, because the meeting is about to start. I bid you farewell, Mademoiselle.", Enjolras said smiling and then he walked away.

(AN: The next chapter will start to get more exciting. I'm trying to update as much as I can before school starts because I don't know how much time I will have during school.)
