"Love is when the other person's happiness
is more important than your own"

It's 1812. The King is still on the throne and people are still trying to survive another day in Saint Michel.
It was a warm March day when a baker and his wife welcomed a newborn: a girl named Juliette.

Her eyes were light brown. If you looked in them, they reminded you of chocolate. Her hair was blonde, no, not blonde, they looked like gold in the sunshine.
Years past and Juliette grew up to an healthy 10 year old. Her mother gave birth to another child: her little brother Alexandre. Her mother soon disappeared from their lives and so it was only them and Juliette.

She learned how to bake bread and pastries and soon started to help her father run the bakery. As Alex grew older, he was involved into the work for the bakery and soon their business was known as the bakery with the best bread.
But something has changed within Juliette. She wasn't as happy anymore since her mother left her with her father and brother.

Her mother's last words to her were: "Love is when the other people's happiness is more important than your own."
