The sun was rising. The sun directly shone into her face, waking her up. She slowly opened her eyes. She can't remember leaving the Café nor that she got home. Then she sat up in the bed. "Where am I?", she mumbled to herself. She definitely wasn't at home. How did she get here? She remembered having a conversation with Courfeyrac but then she fell asleep.
She got out of bed. She was still in her yesterday's clothes. She opened the door. Not a sound in the house. Then she heard a door shutting close. She walked out of the room and walked towards the stairs. She slowly made her way down the stairs and then she saw Courfeyrac.
"Good morning Sunshine.", he said grinning,"I made breakfast. Are you hungry?" She couldn't even answer. He took her hand and guided her towards the table. It was full of food.
Eggs, bacon, bread, butter, everything that she never had at her breakfast table.
"I didn't know what you wanted so I made everything I could find so you can choose what you want to eat. Oh and the bread is fresh. I just went to the bakery." "I don't know what to say...thank you."
"I'm sure you're wondering how you got here in the first place.", she nodded, "well, you fell asleep in the Café last night. I didn't want to wake you up so I brought you here. I didn't change your clothes because I didn't want you to wake up.." He started to ramble. She chuckles. "Thank you. I appreciate it. Everything you did. I don't know how I can repay you for all of this."
"Kiss me!" "What?" "Nothing. I said nothing.", he said, sipping his tea. They ate in silence.
After they ate and put the dishes away, he said
"I might have some clothes you can have. My older sister used to come over when she was 21. She was about your height." "You really don't have to do that." "I know, but I want to do that. Wait a second, I'll get them for you." A few minutes later he returned with a bunch of dresses. They were colorful.
"Try them on." She took the dresses Courf gave her and went upstairs to change. She chose a red dress. On top it was a darker red and the bottom part was lighter and had a few pink roses sewed on them.
She closed the door behind her again and walked downstairs where Courf waited for her. "I told Gavroche to tell your father that you're spending the day with me. I hope you don't mind." "I don't. I like spending time with you.", she said. "So what are we going to do today?", he asked. "I don't know many things on this side of the town. Maybe you could show me something?" "I'd love to." He took her hand and gently kissed her knuckles.
He took her hand and they begun their journey. There wasn't a meeting today so they had all day long.
The day was ending too fast. At the end of the day, their journey ended at the Park.
"I fall in love with this place every time I am here." "Me too.", he took her hand. They sat down in the grass.
"Do you want to know why I brought you here in the first place?" She nodded. "I haven't told you everything. My parents said that it was a special place. My mother said to me: Courfeyrac, when you meet a special person in your life and you know that it's the right one, show her this park." "You think I'm special?", she asked. "Yes, I thought that was obvious by now." They both chuckled. "It was only yesterday when I really realized what I actually felt for you. I think I've never fallen as deep for a girl like you." "Really?" He nods. "Do you know how much I want to kiss you right now?" "Then why don't you do it?" His eyes started to sparkle. All of sudden her eyes looked even brighter. He leaned in.
A million of sparks went through their veins. It was like magic. Their lips parted. Both of them were breathless.(AN: YAY it finally happened. They kissed. This chapter took me like 3 hours to write. But I'm pretty happy with the outcome. I hope you enjoy it ♡)
