"You promised me not to follow me.", Courfeyrac said. He was not angry, he was upset. She promised and now she came anyways. "I don't want you to die. This baby needs you." "It needs you too. Without you, this baby wouldn't be here in the first place.", he said, trying to prove a point.

"But without you, it wouldn't exist either.", she said. "Juliette. If you die here, the baby won't even have a chance to be born and live a life.", he said. "Courfeyrac, you and I, both know that this isn't going to end with you being alive. You guys are outnumbered. You will die on this barricade.", she said. She was full on angry now.

"Stop this nonsense!", he yelled. This was unusual. Courfeyrac never yelled. Courfeyrac's yelling attracted the boys attention. She was hurt. "What else am I supposed to lose? I lost my mother, my father. Recently my brother!", she said in between sobs.

"Wait, what? Your brother died?", Courf asked. She nodded. "He was shot by Inspector Javert after he was trying to help a girl who couldn't walk anymore.", she explained. His face softened. He took a deep breath and walked closer to her. He embraced her in a soft hug. Her head rested on his collarbone. She was now full-on crying. It was too much. Maybe it were the hormones.

He rubbed her back. "I am so sorry. I had no idea.", he said, clearly hurt. After a while she had calmed down and she fell asleep. Courfeyrac noticed after her knees buckled. He lifted her up in bridal style and walked in the Café. "Courfeyrac, you take the watch!", Enjolras said after Courfeyrac came back out of the Café.

"They may attack before it's light. Everybody keep the faith. For certain as our banner flies, we are not alone. The people too must rise.", Enjolras said.

The next morning was here. Enjolras was gone and the boys started to worry. That's when Enjolras jumped over the rest of the furniture. "The people have not stirred. We're abandoned by those who still live in fear. Let us not waste life. Let all that wish to, go from here!", he said. (A/N: I'm sorry if this is wrong)

Juliette walked out of the Café. She heard every word Enjolras said. "I'm not leaving!", she said, loud enough for the boys to hear. Courfeyrac's eyes were boring in her soul. "Neither am I!", Courfeyrac yelled.
"Me neither!", Feuilly joined. Soon the boys all joined in. It was clear that no one was going to leave. They all would rather die on this barricade, than leaving.

"The ammunition is low. We need more ammunition.", Feuilly said. They didn't notice how Gavroche climbed over the barricade. Except for Combeferre and Juliette. "Gavroche, come back!", Juliette yelled. It wasn't loud enough for Courfeyrac to hear.

A man had his gun pointed at Gavroche, which Gavroche didn't notice. The boys were too busy with their next plan when a gunshot rang out. It missed the little boy. Juliette tried jumping over the barricade when the boys tried holding her back. She broke out of their grip and pushed Gavroche away. In that exact same moment, a shot rang out.

(A/N: whoops I am evil. I'm sorry for that. I am too tired because I had school till 7pm and I'm done.... leave your thoughts on this chapter below )
