This chapter is really long so if you don't want to read this you don't have to because it's not crucial to the story, just some fun.
"Let's play a game!" Victoire remarks getting everyone's attention, we are in the Room of Requirements as we are every Friday. Though with this exclamation I feel as though today is going to be a bit different.
"What are we going to play?" Fred asks turning away from our conversation and tuning into the group chat.
"Um...maybe a muggle game," Victoire says appearing to think of the ones she knows. "Spin the bottle, no too awkward." She continues to think but seems to be falling short. "Serena, do you know any we can play?"
"Well, I never really got to play with anyone but there is a game called truth or dare," I answer a bit unsure because even though I know the rules I've never played so I don't really know how hard it'll be.
"Oh, I've heard of that!" Lucy cheers seeming more interested than before. "Do you guys know how to play?" Mostly everyone shakes their head so they look to me to explain.
"Well, you either pick someone or spin a bottle," I start explaining when a bootle appears in the middle of the floor. "We form a circle around it so it can land on someone." As I say this we all move to be around the bottle. "So, when the bottle lands on someone the person who spins it asks that person 'truth or dare.' And whatever they are told to do or question to answer they have to or something happens. I mean we can all choose what happens it's not really specific."
"Dom, What should the punishment be?" Victoire asks trying to get her sister, who is sitting on the furthest bed from the circle, involved in the game.
Everyone seems a bit scared of what she would say but all she does is glare at her sister before returning to look at her book. After a few moments of silence she sighs and replies, "They have to pet Mrs. Norris."
A few gasps go around the room and fear was clearly evident. Then Fred yells, "Come on! That bloody cat almost scratched out my eye last month, and I don't want to go near it again!"
"That's not fair, Mrs. Norris loves Serena!" Scorpius complains making me chuckle and a memory of last week pops into my head.
I had been trying to study but it was too loud in my dorm and in the common room so I went out in the hall. I sat down and continued reading my History of a Magic book trying to memorize the dates and information for the test the next day.
Out of nowhere Mrs. Norris appeared and sat in my lap which I didn't mind because she was so nice. After maybe an hour Scorpius, Albus, and other Hufflepuffs who were walking back to the common room. Then all of a sudden from my lap Mrs. Norris hissed at them angrily. Like she would have been terrifying to anyone else because as she hissed her eyes were in slits and spit flew out of her mouth.
The Hufflepuffs screamed and ran into the common room while Albus and Scorpius backed away a bit. I couldn't help but laugh, like really laugh as my body was shaking and I couldn't breath. The boys tried to approach again and Mrs. Norris got annoyed and decided to walk away so she licked my arm then left.
I chuckle remembering that, and knowing that I remember how scared he had been Scorpius smacks my leg. He's sitting to my left next to Albus while Teddy is to my right next to Victoire.
A few of then look at me a bit confused but over all everyone ignores that fact wanting to start the game instead. "So, who should go first?" Lucy asks seeming to be really excited.
"How about the youngest?" James suggests and we all nod in agreement to which we all turn to look at Lily. "You first Lil."
"Okay," Lily states simply as she reaches forward and spins the bottle. As it continues to spin we all are impatiently waiting to see who is chosen. When it eventually stops she looks up and smirks. "Al, truth or dare."
