I went to sleep with Michaels words fresh in my mind, and woke up the same way. I woke up and the first thing I saw was not just the beautiful ocean, but michael curled into a ball at the end of our shared bed. He honestly looked like I could cuddle him for the rest of my life. It took a bit of courage, but I finally crawled down the foot of the bed and curled into a ball next to him. I poked his nose multiple times before he showed any signs of being alive.
"Michael." Poke. "Mikey." Poke. "Miiiicchhaaaeellll." Poke.
"What." Michael groaned, his voice raspy and heavy with sleep.
"You should cuddle with me." I don't know where all this confidence came from, but since he said that he was thinking of me it made me feel a bit more bold.
Michael sighed dramatically. "Okay, if you insist."
Michael wrapped his arms aroundy waist and I did the same. We were facing eachother, and stared intensely into eachothers eyes.
Michael squeezed my hips and let out yet another long sigh. I knew exactly what he was thinking, but to be honest I felt content in his embrace and didnt want to talk about that at the moment.
"Let's not talk about it, okay?" I asked quietly.
Michael nodded and kissed my forehead. His small, friendly, action sent my stomach into a rampage of a mix between butterflies and elephants. I blushed and hid my face in his shirt.
We layed in eachothers arms for a good couple of hours getting a bit more sleep until Emily and Calum flaunted into the living area on their way to the kitchen.
Emily's small body was perched on Calums back and she was laughing at something Calum had said, he was smirking. Michael and I were still in the same position only awake now.
Emily smirked knowingly at the two of us and her and Calum went into the kitchen.
"We're making breakfast!" We heard Calum tell before Michael and I sat up.
Michael stretched his arms and made a cute noise that slightly resembled a baby kitten. I redid my hair into a quick bun and stood up. We were all still in our clothes from yesterday because we didn't know that we would actually be spending the night here.
"Should we wake everyone else up?" I suggested. The boost of confidence I had earlier in the morning was gone completelyand I was feeling quite drained.
Michael agreed and headed off towards Miranda and Ashtons room. We both yelled at them to get up and soon they were both trudging down the hallway to the kitchen without a single "Good morning."
Even though Miranda and Ashton are the oldest of our small group of people at 21 and 22, thy both acted the youngest for sure. I was the second youngest person, Emily being born 2 months after me.
Knowing that it wasn't a good idea to step foot into Anna and Luke's room, we pounded on the door until loud groans were herd and the bed squeaking signaled that they were awake.
While everyone was in the kitchen dishing up the rather large breakfast Emily and Calum had made, I announced that I had a photoshoot to get to. Michael gave a suspicious look but I brushed it off. The studio was a half an hour away and the photoshoot was in an hour. I realized I didn't have a ride once I stepped out the door and in seconds I was asking Michael to drive me.
"Yeah I can take you. Just a second, let me grab my shoes." Michael smiled, shoving the rest of his pancake into his mouth. I stood by the door waiting for him to put his shoes on, and once he put his incredibly worn out converse on, he opened the door for me as bowed down dramtically.
"M'lady." I laughed and got into his car putting the directions on my iPhone for him.
I knew what conversation was coming and I knew exactly how to avoid it. During the whole ride I kept the concersation going on something and everything. From his favorite things to why kittens are the cutest things ever. He answered my questions and replied to my answers as if it were the most normal thing in the world.
Eventually Michael caught on to what I was trying to do and was very close to succeeding at.
"Why don't you just talk about it Ella?" Michael asked, angrily gripping the steering wheel.
"Because Michael." I said, containing my anger. "Look, we're here. I have to go."
Michael sighed and looked at me concerned. "Do you need a ride home? I can come get you later?"
I stumbled with my words and bit, because I did need a rude home, but I didn't want the conversation to come up so I lied and said "No, I already have a ride. But thanks anyway."
I'm sorry this is hella short and crappy but I'm tired and I just got tickets to see 5sos at their rock out with your socks out tour in Vancouver and I'm so happy and yeah sorry again
