True to his word, Aedyn never once brought up the fact we got married. Its been almost a week, and any whispers that got passed around the pack house were quickly stifled, and no one dared breathe a word of it.

But now I had to go back to school.

The school bell rang obnoxiously as everyone rushed out of the class room, leaving Kat and I to pack up all of our belongings.

"Are you ready for lunch?" Kat swung her designer book bag over her shoulder and looked at me curiously.

"To be honest, I'm not very hungry." I haven't been eating well these last few days. With Aedyn finding out the truth, Luke calling, the police looking for me, I was too stressed to eat. I was too occupied with the swirl of self-doubt in my mind to be hungry.

"Can you please eat something? Just a snack?" Kat's eyes were filled with concern. "I know you didn't have time to eat breakfast."

I nodded, just to appease her, and slowly followed her to the cafeteria. As soon as I walked in, the stench of food made me gag, but I tried to hide it from Kat and the others. Gabe and Ian waved us over to a table, but Kat walked away to grab us some food. The moment I sat down, Ian knew something was wrong.

"Hey, are you feeling okay? You look kinda green." I waved off the questioning stares.

"Yeah, I didn't sleep well." Ian obviously didn't push the issue, but I knew from the sideways glance he didn't believe me.

A yogurt and fruit bowl landed in front of me, and I looked up to see Kat handing me a spoon.

"Eat up, buttercup." My stomach immediately started churning, protesting whatever I was about to do, but I knew I had to at least put up the appearance of eating something.

I painstakingly mixed the fruit and yogurt, but just as I was about to put some to my lips, Ian's phone rang, pulling the attention away from me.

"Yo, what's u-" His brows immediately furrowed and he looked at me, and the pain in my stomach doubled. "Right now? Are you sure?" He paused, intense concentration written on his face. "Consider it done." The call ended and Ian abruptly stood up.

"We're leaving. Let's go. Now." Everyone started walking out, no hesitation.

"Wait, What? What happened?" I ran to catch up as we bursted out of the front doors.

"That was Aedyn." Ian looked at me in pain. "The cops are at the house."

I froze.

"What?" Kat grabbed my hand and pulled me to the car.

"We can't stop. We have get back now." She urged my into the back seat, and barely managed to slam the door before we pulled out.

"Why are we going back? Shouldn't I be hiding?" My adrenaline kicked in, and my breathing started to hitch.

Gabe tried to call me down, as Ian got on the phone with someone else.

"Aedyn already took care of everything. All we have to do its show up and give them paperwork. It will be fine."

The tires screeched as we barely made it around a turn, Gabe's foot still on the gas. My breaths got shorter, and a tightness in my chest became apparent.

We pulled up to the house, and were greeted with 5 or 6 cop cars, lights and all, on the front lawn. Everyone jumped out but me, until I met a pair of familiar blue eyes.

Aedyn. In hand cuffs.

I jumped out and ran toward him. They can't take him away! I ran into him, but the moment we connected, police officers pulled me off and pushed me onto a car.
