*Two weeks later*

The days went past, and it was like Lily and I were never apart. We hung out all the time, just like it used to be. Michael and his old girlfriend's children were making even better friends with mine, so it was surprising how quickly a fortnight went!

"Hey, Ellie, do you want to go on a walk? You know, to that lovely little park? You're old husband won't be there, I'm sure of it. He'll be with that stupid little blondie."

"Mm, I'd love to Lils! Shall we go now?"

"Sure!" Lily grinned at me, and soon we were walking to the park.

"Is it bad that I'm missing Jack just a little, even though I also love Mikey?"

Lily considered this for a few moments. "I wouldn't say so. He was the guilty one in this. You never wanted  to leave, did you?"

"I suppose not. Thanks, Lils! This is the park! Oh, I remember how I used to swing Tyler on this... all the time," I told her, looking at the swings.

"Aw, I bet he loved that. Would you like to get an ice-cream? That's what I used to do with Michael all the time."

"Great! I'd love to."

As we walked back to the entrance, I saw a body lying under a nearby tree. "Lily! Look!" I told her, and she dashed towards the man.

"He's not dead, but he is very weak. I don't think he'll make the night, the way he is," she called over to me, and I made my way over to her.

I stared at the man under the tree. Of course, I was horrified to see this poor soul almost lifeless, but I was even more scared to see that the person who was in a terrible shape was my ex-boyfriend, the father of my children, my husband.

Jack Frost was the man who was hurt.

~~~~~~~~
"That's my husband, Lily! It's Jack! Is he not breathing?" I screamed, "Call the ambulance, hurry!"
"What! OK, OK! Is that 999? Can I have the ambulance? We need emergency help. We're at the park, yes that's the one. Hurry, I don't think he's breathing! El, do CPR, quick!" I rushed to the ground and pressed my hands down firmly on his chest. "El, carry on! The ambulance are coming as quickly as they can. "Keep him alive, El! Shall I take over?"
After a short while, the ambulance arrived, but it felt like ever second came closer to losing Jack. "He is in a bad way," the paramedics told us, after examining him. "He is breathing now, but it is unstable, so the best thing is to keep him in for a while, and hope that his heart regains its normal strength. You are his wife, is that right, Mrs Frost? Would you like to come in with us, and your friend too? We should hurry though..."
"Please," I replied, and shakily got into the ambulance. I was dreading what the doctors might say to me. That he wouldn't make it and that I would have to say goodbye to my husband.
"Oh, Jack, I know that things have been a little more than complicated, but you have to stay with me! We can work everything out. Rapunzel loves you, so why were you out there? You look in terrible shape too," I told him. We were in the hospital, and Lily was squeezing my hand. She was comforting, and reassured me that Jack would make it, but I wasn't so sure. Suddenly, the alarms started going off. "Help! Someone, help!" I shouted, "Jack's monitor isn't working! He's going, isn't he? HELP!"
