CHAPTER 29

KURT

ANG BOBO ko kingina! I was so lost to the point that hindi ko na alam kung saan ako pupunta. Napadpad nalang ako sa bahay ni Kade dahil bukod kay Vaughn, Si Kade lang talaga ang closest ko among all of us Cypher Kings.

I knocked once, twice— Nagdabog ako sa harap ng pinto nya. He's living inside the subdivision and his house is the only house infront of a cafe.

"Kade!"

The door boomed open and revealed a newly awaked face of Kade Young.

"Nagwawala ka sa labas ng bahay ko ng ganitong oras, Kurt?" Panenermon nya sakin. I don't care—I just don't want to care anymore. Gagong-gago ako sa sarili ko ngayon!

"P-Pre... Fck! Kasalanan ko 'to! Putangina mo, Kurt! Gago ka! Wala kang kwent—"

His arms embraced me into a tight hug that made my emotions grow harder. Umuusbong ang galit at pagsisisi sa puso ko.

"What happened? Pasok ka muna!" Naririnig ko ang mahihinang mura nya pero wala akong pake. Parang humiwalay yung kaluluwa ko sa katawan sa sobrang lamya ko ngayon, I don't even know what to say.

Inabutan nya ako ng freshly-served hot choco. He's my bestfriend do he knows how to calm me down.

I took a sip. Uminom din sya sa tasa nya bago sya nagsalita.

"Can you now tell me what happened?"

I sighed, hoping that he will find the right words to say. Sinabi ko sakanya lahat ng detalye pati kung anong iniisip ko while I'm having sex with my secretary.

I noticed him froze at the moment. Itsura palang nya halata nang sobrang lalim ng iniisip nya, and maybe finding the right words to say without offending me.

"Uh—" He mumbled.

Bumuntong hininga ako ulit. "I know, It's very hard for you to talk right now. Kasalanan ko naman iyon. I need to find my own peace."

Without a word, he stood up and guided me towards his guest room. Citronella agad ang naamoy ko nung pumasok ako. This was never my first time; I slept in here five years ago nung nag-away kami ni Kuya.

I sat at the edge of the bed at nanatiling nakatingin sa lapag. I want to cry. Gusto ko syang kausapin pero hindi sapat ang kapal ng mukha ko at lakas ng loob ko ngayon.

"Bro, If you need anything just don't hesitate to call me, okay? Ako lang ang pinakamalapit sa bahay nyo, San ka pa ba ibang tatakbo?" He joked.

"Thanks."

Tumalikod na sya at isinara ang pinto. I removed my slippers at kumuha ng spare shorts ni Kade sa Cabinet nya. Habang nakahiga ako, I just couldn't help but to think of other ways para magka-ayos kami ni Jennie.
