CHAPTER 28

ROSÉ

GUSTO KONG tawanan si Jennie ngayon dahil kanina pa sya nakabusangot. I was about to make fun of her again but then I remembered something.

I immediately took out my phone and dialed Nikko's number. Nikko is one of our co-models and obviously the closest to me. Medyo sadista sya minsan at walang pekeelam sa paligid bit I'll tell you this; he's a keeper.

Nilingon ko si Vox sa tabi ko atsaka bumulong, "Hon, Gonna take this phone call, okay? Bantayin mong mabuti si pusa or else the both of us will be dead!" I kissed him on his cheek before heading to the door.

I sat on the benches outside the bar at nagsindi ng yosi. Yes, I smoke, but not that often. I still take care of my health and I'm very aware of the things that might happen to my body when I smoke cigarettes.

"Hmm..." Bungad ni Nikko. Natawa naman ako dahil sanay naman na ako. Maaga syang natutulog kaya malamang nagising ko nanaman 'tong kuneho na to.

"Sorry to interrupt—" I stopped. He scoffed on the other line, "You always interrupt me, Rosé. Ikaw lang naman ang dumidistorbo ng tulog ko." Masungit pero husky nyang sabi.

Napa-irap naman ako sa hangin saka humithit ulit ng sigarilyo. "Hindi ka ba tinatawagan ng fiancé mo?" Then I exhaled out the smoke.

Kinalahati ko lang yung yosi ko atsaka pinudpod yung dulo nya sa ashtray.

"Nicole? No. She can interrupt me anytime dahil mahal ko sya. You can't do that to me forever because Vox will kill me if I do. Anong kailangan mo?"

"May sinabi ba sayo si Gigi kung anong schedule nung summer photoshoot? I was so busy these past few day dahil inaasikaso ko yung family matters sa bahay." I said. I took out a bubblegum from my back then stuffed it inside my mouth. Nag-alcohol din ako at nagpabango para hindi ako halatang nagsigarilyo.

"Nope, Wala pa. I'll inform you if ever. Gotta hang up, huh?" Paalam nya. Narinig kong bumukas yung pinto kaya baka si Nicole na yun.

"Mmm... Thanks Nikko!" Then I hung up the phone.

Napaatras ako at nagulat nang makita ko ang isang pamilyar na tao. I stood there; stunned while looking at him right now, face to face!

Memories started to flood inside my mind causing me to go nuts! I don't know if I should blabber, or maybe explain—I don't know!

His dark sharp eyes threw dagger at me. His lean and muscled body towered over me. After years, He never changed. There's still this dark aura that intimidates me whenever he's close.
