Karkat's Pov

Running. That's all I've been doing for the past hour. Running for my life as the rain falls down on my grey skin as I try to find somewhere safe. I'm trying not to die. Who knows if they're still there or if they left. Maybe they're in the shadows. Then I remember. My friends house in near. I run faster. "Just a few more blocks!" I run faster trying to get to her house before my life is taken from me.

"Can't hide sunshine!" I hear a dark voice rings behind me as a run into an alleyway remembering the short cut. I soon get to the neighborhood entrance. 2467. I bang on her door.

"TEREZI! OPEN UP!!" I then heard walking. I'm panicking and really out of breath. MAN I'm out of shape! She soon opened up her door and I ran inside falling on the red and blue tiled floor.

"TH3 H311 K4RKL3S!" She screamed? At me kinda hard to tell, she has a loud voice like me time to time.

"Sorry. I don't wanna die tonight. Before you ask, yes, I'm being tracked down to be killed. Why you may ask? I DON'T FUCKING KNOW!" I healed my knees up to my chest and slid to the wall for the stairs... Yeah. She walked over to me then sat next to me. Bringing me into a hug. I like having her around, she's so caring towards me.

"SHHH K4RK3S!" I started to cry in her arms "I7'S GONN4 B3 OK4Y! I WON'7 1ET 4NY ON3 HUR7 YOU!" She makes it seem like a joke when I'm in fUCKING TEARS IN HER ARMS! And you may ask 'Karkat? How the fuck did you get into this mess?' Well let me tell you! So today was normal. Watching romcoms, my friends annoying me, crabdad.... Wait... nevermind. Forget that last one. But I got something on my... uhh... Email saying some shit like 'Hey, you did something, and now we hate you so we're gonna send someone to kill you.... Yeah ~ Anon' And I'm here like WHO THE FUCK IS ANON!!! So I've been trying to be safe all day and when I go out to take out the fUCKING TRASH! I heard a faint 'coming for you' and now I'm scared...

"IT'S GOING TO BE OKAY?" I start. "I'M GONNA FUCKING DIE!!! AND YOU SAY EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE OKAY!!! TEREZI THE ACTUAL FUCK!!" As I finished I heard a knock at the door. "SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT! THEY FOUND ME!!!!!!!" I then scampered upstairs and hid around a corner.

"H3LLO?" I heard her say. I then peeped around the corner and saw a tall man. Looks to be, eh, roughly 6'2. He had blond hair swooped across his face. A red and black flannel, jeans, shoes. But he had shades on. WHEN IT'S FUCKING NIGHT!!

"Uhh.. yeah. Hello, I'm looking for a Karkat Vantas, is he here?" I heard him say. Is that the guy who was chasing after me?

"WHY Y3S, H3 1S... 1LL GO G3T H1M." She then walked up my way and dragged me down the stairs. I then stood there. Frozen in place. I felt my blood rush to my head as the cold air from outside hit my face.

I heard a voice from upstairs, "Tereziiiiiiii!", "Tell you little friends to go, it's getting soooooooo late!". Terezi then proceed to kick us out of her hive.. House? Fuck it. I was now standing there with my assassin? Or is he just a prick that randomly asked for me... okay he's my assassin.

"Well, well, well." I heard the voice mutter. "Looks like I got you now huh?" He then pulled out a dagger into his hand. I try to back away but then end up falling. He lifted it up a bit then I closed my eyes waiting for the dagger to strike. But it didn't and I didn't die? I heard a clink sound. I looked up to see him on the ground.
