Karkat's POV

I've been counting down the seconds for this day, my wedding day. It's been about two years since Dave had proposed to me. We are now twenty and Sophomores in college, time has flown by us. Just to think we first met when he tried to kill me. I always push that thought in the back of my head but my god does it keep coming back. Since the proposal, me and Dave have fallen deeper in love and we always tell each other our true feelings. One time we got scared it was all fake so we had Rose do a lie detector on us, that was interesting.

I soon snapped out of thought when one of the best men came in. More like best girls but it's whatever. "Karkat, Darling, You Look So Dashing! I Can Remember Me And Rose's Wedding Just From This! It Will Be The Best Day Of Your Sweeps!" When it came to me and Kanaya alone we still used troll terms and I was okay with that! It keeps our species alive, well our terms alive that is.

"Thanks, Kanaya, my thinkpan is going to explode, what if he says no, what if he says another person's name?! What if I find out he's cheating on me!" I start to hyperventilate and the tie around my neck felt like it was choking me. Kanaya put her hands on my shoulders and rubbed her thumbs on them.

"Karkat, Look At Me And Breathe. I Have Had Many, Many Personal Conversations With Dave And He Has Thought The Same As You. I Can Assure You Neither Of You Are Cheating. Your Feelings Towards Each Other Are Genuine, You Both Are So In Love Sometimes It's Unbearable." I chuckled and nodded. We finished getting me ready then my ancestor- I mean dad came in.

"Oh my god" I turned around and he had the biggest smile on his face. "My boy, all grown up!" I laughed and walked up to him. He pulled me into a big hug and of course I hugged back.

"It's okay dad, I won't grow up too quickly now" I soon heard the organs start to play meaning soon I will walk down the isle. "FUUUUCK!" I yelled getting nervous all over again.

"Karkat, Dear, You'll Be Okay!" Kanaya reassured. I nodded and adjusted my tie one more time before linking arms with my dad. The main part of the song started to play as Kanaya and Rose, who was guarding the room, open the doors for me to walk down the Isle. Soon after they went to their spots as bridesmaids.

    Me and dad chatted for a bit and I soon looked at the crowd and saw Aradia, who was next to her girlfriends Nepeta and Aradia, giving me the biggest smile and a thumbs up. We are really close and I'm so glad she had came!

    I look to the other side and there was Deciple crying and blowing me kisses. Right in front of here was Jane, Jake, and Calli. Jake was taking pictures and I stuck my tongue out for one. He viewed the picture and laughed showing Jane and Callie.

    My head snaps in front of me as we approach the alter. Roxy, Kanaya, and Rose were the bridesmaids that stood behind me. John, Dirk, and Kankri were the groomsmen who stood behind Dave.

    I got into my spot after dad gave me a quick kiss in the head. He went to find his seat and I stepped onto the platform which was shared with the marriage officiant. As soon as I stepped on Dave took off his shades and I look into his stunning Maroon eyes. They were glossed over like he is about to cry and my eyes soon copied his.

    After the dialogue of exchanging our vows it was soon our time to our the deal. "Do you, Dave Strider, take here, Karkat Vantas, to be your wedded husband through sickness and in health? Til death do you part?"

"I do" He said with the biggest smile.

"Do you, Karkat Vantas, take here, Dave Strider, to be your wedded husband through sickness and in health? Til dead do you part?"

    I looked into his eyes and smiled nodding a bit, "I do!"

"By the power invested in me I pronounce you man and man. You may now kiss your spouse." By the sound of him closing his book me and Dave locked lips passionately. Everyone erupted into claps and cheers and then we pull away. I grabbed his hand and we jog down the isle to get ready for the reception.

    We turned our backs to each other to surprise each other with our outfits. Even if I am a cis male I say fuck stereo types and I put on platform heels and long red dress pants with a black button up shirt. The shirt is fully buttoned up and I honestly look good! "Ready? 3,,, 2,,, 1,,, turn!" I looked to face each other and my god. He looks really hot! He is w we wearing black dress pants and a white button up shirt that's tucked into his pants. There was a twist, it was a fourth way buttoned up so most of his chest was exposed. He was hot to say at least, well, more than normal.

"Ready baby?" He said in a low voice. God if we didn't have this party thing I would have him take me right here. I nod my face blushing. We grabbed hands and walked into a pretty big barn.

    There were fairy lights all around the beams and around the tables as well. Succulents hang off the horizontal support beams and in the center of the table. It was really beautiful. There was a clearing in the middle for a small dance floor.
(I'm not writing a whole ass reception just know it's very wholesome)

    It was now sundown by now, Dave and I hopped into the car and went home. We decided to do a Honeymoon soon but not right now. Everything was really sweet and we shared a lot of kisses. Everything was finally perfect and I couldn't be happier. I'm truly fell in love with my assassin.
