Kankri's POV

Karkat hasn't been home in awhile. I sent multiple texts and phone calls to him and nothing. I'm starting to worry... what if he got kidnapped or even worse killed! There was a small knock at the door. I jump up and dart to the door quickly. I open it to see Karkat. My face lights up as I hug him tightly. "I thought you died!"

"I didn't but my phone did." I glanced up to see a tall figure at the door. He had no expression.

"Hello?"

He cleared his throat before speaking. "Hello"

"Would you like to explain why he is home so late?"

"Why yes, he was getting chased by some bullies, as I dealt with them the busses left. I asked him if he wanted to go to my house or your guys'. He said mine was fine so we drove him, he didn't text you which was rude but if you'd like you can give me your number so I can text you if I have any worries or if his phone dies again. I also apologize if my presence triggered you, I thought you should know whom he was with." I light up. Excellent warning and apologizing?! I nod my head as I run to get a pen and paper. After a minute or so I finally found them.

"Thank you for addressing your triggers! Here's my number just in case something triggering happens." He nods as waves a goodbye to Karkat. Right when I was about to close the door I see a motorcycle pull up. I softly smile. I recognized that motorcycle anywhere. It belonged to Cronus Ampora. He is also my matesprit as well. Every other night he comes in to check on me and Karkat.

"Aye doll"

"Hello, cronus" He crabs... grabs* my cheeks and softly kisses my nose then lips. I slightly smile once he pulls away.
