“You hear that baby?!” Dave’s face was full of happiness, his dimples showed as well as his straight teeth and his smiley piercing. I nod and he brings me into a tight hug. “I’m so excited if your mom lets you.” My head fills with worry. Normally she’s okay with small stuff but this shit is big! Her little baby boy is moving… With Kankri it was different, I was still there...

“Yeah, if.” He pulls away his smile no longer there.

“Worried she’d say no?” I nod again as he brings me into another hug. “Even if she does you know I’ll still be here for you and with you.” I laugh and hug back. “I love you, Karkat” My eyes looked wide for a moment then I gave a big smile as I pulled back from the hug, holdings his hands.

“I love you too, Dave.” He looks at me with a soft smile.

“I know, one thing, that I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you~” He sang. I giggled a bit due to as he was singing he was getting closer to my face. I leaned him and peck his lips then rested my head into his chest.

“You know what’s crazy?”

“What?”

“Two or three months ago you were sent out to kill me and now we’re boyfriends”

“Fucking is crazy man.”

“Even if you were to kill me, I’d let you.”

“Why would I kill you.”

“Well, you were my assassin and plus it’s me.”

“I wouldn’t kill you because of either of those. I didn’t kill you then and I won’t kill you now.”

“I fucking love you, Strider.”

“I love you too, Karks.” I rest my head down onto his chest, close my eyes, and slowly drift off to sleep.
