I was in my room I couldn't stop thinking about Lillianna. It's only been a few days but she's all I can think about. She's so pretty and I don't think she knows that though. Do I like her? Ugh for the love of Jupiter why can't I stop thinking about her. I have Praetor work to do. You know what screw Praetor work I can get Skyler or Nadia to help Fiona. I'm going to go to talk to Lilianna. I was walking when I saw Nadia. "Hey Nadia can you help Fiona with the Praetor stuff? I'm going to do something else for a while." I spoke loudly so she could hear me. "Um yeah sure." She replied.
I walked into the bed areas and saw Lillianna working on school stuff. Maybe I shouldn't interrupt her she looks focused. But she looked up and saw me. Too late to back out now. She came down from the top bunk and walked over to me. "Hey what are you doing here?" She asked with a grin. I decided to ask her my question, "I uh was wondering if you would like to go on a walk with me? I totally understand if you can't I see you got stuff to do. So-" I was cut off by her fingers to my lips which sent shivers down my spine. "You're rambling Blood Boy." She said. "Blood Boy?" I asked. "Yeah I mean your dad is god of war so it's filled with blood and your eyes have a tint of blood red to them." She replied. "Oh! Then in that case you get a nickname too. How about Kelp head?" I said knowing it was a horrible nickname. Her face changed from playfulness to anger. And before I knew it I was pinned to the wall with her sword against my throat. Wow she was feisty and she just BEAT ME!? "Kelp head I think there is a better nickname then that." She said with a dangerously calm voice. "Uh um yeah what about Ocean Girl?" I said with a little fear in my voice. "Well I guess it's ok." She said and removed the sword from my neck and put the cap back on so it turned into a pen.
"So how about that walk Ocean Girl?" I said with a smirk. I think she sensed me getting cocky. "Why would I want to go on a walk with you I have more important things to do Blood Boy." She replied with a bigger smirk. She was kidding right because her mouth was joking but her beautiful sea-green eyes were dead serious. "Are you joking?" I asked. "Well I guess I'm joking." She said. I sighed with relief as she started walking out the door. "Well are you coming Blood Boy?" She asked with a grin. "Yeah!" I replied.
We started walking but there was an awkward silence. So I decided to interrupt. "Hey so I know you're smart but how long do you think it will take for you to finish this year's lessons?" I asked. I could tell she was thinking about my question. "I don't know maybe 4 or 5 months at the most." She replied satisfied with her answer. "Hey have you been on a quest before?" I asked. "Well no duh! I just found out I was a demigod a few days ago!" She said annoyed.
After a while we started warming up to each other. I said a few jokes and she said a few jokes and we laughed. We talked about how different the camps were. We talked about our friends. So by the time we were heading back it was like we knew everything about each other.
We were almost there when Skylar came in running. " What's wrong?" I asked. "Chiron calls from Camp Halfblood and said there was another Great Prophecy!" She exclaimed out of breath. "WHAT!" I yelled. Chiron wants you guys to come so you can hear it." She said.
I could tell Lillianna was agitated. I put my hand on her arm. She turned around and I looked into her eyes. "Hey it's going to be ok." I said while rubbing her arm. I honestly thought I would get another sword to the throat but she calmed down. She  started walking again and I followed behind her. When we got there I could see that Fiona and Nadia looked annoyed at us for taking so long.
I sat down in a chair with Lillianna next to me. He then recited the Prophecy:
A demigod child of the eldest gods
Shall face the dead against all odds
The 8 friends shall stay
Don't forget what matters most at the end of the day
To water and lightning the dead shall fall
A traitor and old sibling will call
Lillianna looked like she could pass out and so did everyone else. So I was surprised when Lillianna spoke up "For the first line I think it has to be either me, Max, or Fiona. But I don't think it's Fiona because it says water and lightning so either it's me alone or me and Max. I also think by 8 friends it means me, Emma, Max, Jake, Lucas, Skylar, Fiona, and Nadia but that's just a guess." She said like she saw through the whole Prophecy. Everyone looked surprised even Chiron. "You know you're absolutely right Lily." Chiron said thinking about it. Wait did he say Lily. I looked at Lillianna and she gave me a I'll explain later look.
After a bunch of discussing we agreed that me, Skylar, and Lilianna would go to Camp Halfblood to receive another Prophecy. Lillianna looked annoyed that she just got here and now has to go back. Skylar was excited because she's never been to Camp Halfblood. I was just happy that I got to go with my Ocean Girl. Wait did I say my oops. Nadia got to be a temporary Praetor to help Fiona.
As I was walking Lillianna back I turned her and she knew what I was going to say. "Look my real name is Lillianna but everyone calls me Lily because it's easier but I don't really like so when I meet someone I don't like to tell them." She said. That makes sense I guess. "Why don't you like it Lily is a good name." I told her. "I guess" she said. "So can I call you that instead of Lillianna?" I asked. "No why do you think I let you nickname me Ocean Girl." She replied. "I know but when I don't call you that?" I asked again. "Ugh fine let's just get back!" She said annoyed. "Alright Ocean Girl!" I said. She seemed to ease up a bit because I didn't call her Lily. I started to think about Lily. Her jet-black hair, her gorgeous sea-green eyes, her smooth skin, the sparkle she has, and her amazing personality. Oh gods I like her. Who am I kidding she doesn't like me back.
