Lillianna and the Sand (1)

3: Lillianna

       Lucas helped me put on my armor. I was on the blue team along with Max, the Athena, Hephaestus, Aphrodite, Apollo cabins, and half of the minor gods. The red team had the Ares, Hermes, Demeter, Dionysus cabins, and the rest of the minor gods. I was defending the creek because they said the water would give me power. At about 25 minutes I saw a few kids from the Ares and Hermes cabins coming with Flag. I guess it was my turn to fight.
       I uncapped Riptide and lounged at the Ares kid who was holding the flag. He managed to doge me but I slashed at his leg and he fell to the ground in agony. Then two Hermes kids came at me with daggers the got a stab at my am which caused me to drop Riptide. I then remembered the water behind me and backed up, instantly I felt better. They advanced on me and with two hits they had lost their daggers and had bloodied arms. The two Ares kids that were left had picked up the flag but didn't advance. I guess they figured out I was stronger in the water. I then had a brilliant idea maybe I could control the water to sweep them towards me. Before I did that I realized I wasn't wet. Hey guess it comes with the territory. I focused on the sound of the water hitting the bank and swirling around I concentrated on what I wanted the water to do and I ended up summoning a ten feet wave. I think I heard the younger kid squeal. It crashed into the two Ares kids and brought them into the creek. I didn't even have to use my sword to disarm them, the water did it for me. When I finally finished I realized everyone had saw what happened. They were all staring at me while Emma crossed the creek with the flag. Everyone then realized the blue team won. The red team was outraged while the blue team was cheering for me and Emma.
      While everyone was either cheering or screaming Emma, Max, and Lucas walked over. "You stole all my thunder!" Max exclaimed pretending to be sad but I could tell he was proud of me. "Oh I get what you did there! You said thunder and Zeus is your dad!" Lucas said like he just figured out a hard problem. "Oh shut up you two!" Emma said while rolling her eyes and gave me a hug and I hugged her back.
        After a quick snack everyone went back to their cabins. I took a shower before going on my bed. I would have to go back to school tomorrow. I already said my goodbyes and said I would be back for Winter Break which was in a week.
        I woke up at 6 instead of 7 to get ready and leave. When I arrived at school everything was normal. I guess this is what the Mist does. To be honest the whole was extremely boring. At least there was no homework this week. When I got home my mom was waiting for me. Oh dear gods I thought. "Lillianna Ace what did you think you were doing taking off before school ended and then not bothering to call me for a few hours. I was so worried." She said sadly pulling me into an embrace. "I thought I meant more to you than that." She finished. That broke my heart of course I cared about her. "I'm sorry mom." I said squeezing her harder. "It's ok dear, I made purple cookies!" She exclaimed. "Yay! Thank you!" I replied.
        I was eating cookies when an Iris messaged popped up from Lucas. "Oh hey Lucas! What's up?" I greeted. "Nothing it's just Chiron is really worried about you. He said you should probably be a year round camper." Lucas said. Of course my mom had to be right there. "Absolutely not. My baby needs to finish school and stay with her mother!" She half-screamed. "Mom!" I said embarrassed and giving her a look that means stop talking and let him explain. "Anyway, Chiron said you could do school at Camp Jupiter and you can visit your mother often." Lucas said trying not to burst into laughter. My mom looked like she was having a battle with herself. "Alright but only if you really want to go." She finally answered looking crestfallen. "I do want go." I replied. "Alright well bye! I'll go tell Chiron your answer. Your flight to San Francisco is tomorrow at 1:00." Lucas interrupted and then disappeared.
        The next morning I woke up to my mom hugging my tightly. "I'm going to miss you so much!" she said trying not to break into tears. "I'll miss you to mom!" I replied finally getting the energy to hug her back. She got off my bed and left the room while I packed, changed, ate, then left.
        It took a while before I arrived but it looked cool. When I got off the airplane I saw a girl with light skin, blond hair, and amber eyes. She was practically glowing. She walked over and introduced herself. " Hi I'm Skylar Moon! I'm guessing you're Lillianna daughter of Neptune?" She asked. "Yeah, nice to meet you! Who's your godly parent?" I think I asked casually. "Apollo! Anyway follow me." She replied.
         When we got there I saw that it was much bigger than Camp Halfblood probably because of the city New Rome. She showed me around and apparently I got put into the fifth cohort. She was the centurion. She then took me to meet the Praetor.
          I finally saw him, he had fair skin, messy but handsome light brown hair, and dark brown eyes with a tint of blood red. "Hi I'm Jake! You must be Lillianna. I heard about your story. It's cool I guess we got something in common. Oh and if you're wondering my dad is Mars." He said. I swear he's so pretty I could just get lost in his eyes. Wait do I like him? "Yeah I already know Chiron told me about you!" I replied. Just then two other girls walked in. One had deathly pale skin, black hair, and hazel eyes. The other one had fair skin, red hair, and eyes that kept changing colors. Jake pointed to the girl with black hair and said "This is the other Praetor Fiona Valentine. She's a daughter of Pluto." The girl tried for a smile but I could tell she was a bit depressed. "Hi nice to meet you Lilianna." She said. I guess everyone already knows who I am. She then pointed to the one with red hair. "This is Nadia Deness she's my friend and she's a daughter of Venus." Fiona said. "
