Lillianna and the Sand (1)

9: Lillianna

I was in an empty space. I felt like I was losing the will to live but then Jake crosses my mind. I remembered what I was doing here and that I needed to get back. The more I fought the stronger the depression became. The darkness was increasing and I started to suffocate. I think I just need to focus on one thing and let the rest go. Jake. I kept repeating Jake and forgot everything else. Suddenly a ray of light shone through. It kept increasing until it burst and everything was showered with light. Jake I thought again.
The scene changed and I was being pulled down by quicksand. I tried to move but I couldn't. Then my skinned started to burn like I was on fire. This must be a physical challenge. I kept channeling darkness through my body so I wouldn't burn up. The darkness was weak though. I needed to feel worse more depressed. I thought my dad hates me. Jake doesn't like me. My mom thinks I'm a failure. My friends actually don't like me and are trying to ruin my life. The darkness increased. I'm a failure. I'm all alone. Darkness started to radiate from me. Everyone I love is trying to kill me. I'm no good in life I should die. I need to kill myself. Darkness burst and the feeling of burning disappeared.
The scene shifted and I was sitting in a field of dead bodies. All my friends were dead. I saw my mom running towards me but before I could hug her an arrow went straight through her neck. The life immediately left her eyes and she fell down. Tears burst from my face and I sat there crying. The more I cried the more people died. What if I wanted revenge instead? I decided to try it, I mean it couldn't get much worse.
Rage coursed through my veins and I turned to the monsters that had killed my mom and friends. I bellowed in rage and released a war cry. The monsters looked shocked that such a sound could come from a human.
More darkness radiated from me. The angrier I got the more cracks opened in the ground. As I charged forward skeletons burst from the cracks. I lunged even though I didn't have a sword. If I used the air I could increase the power of punch and make swords too just like with the water, even though it would be weaker. I kept punching and the swords kept stabbing until all the monsters were dead. "AHHHHH!" I roared. To be honest I felt like a child of Ares.

Lily's heart started to beat a bit faster. She still wasn't breathing though. At least it was better than nothing. "Did you finish giving her nectar and ambrosia?" I asked. "Yeah." Zizi replied. "Alright give her some water now." I commanded. "Jake if the nectar and ambrosia didn't work then water won't either." Zizi said. "We need to keep healing her constantly! While we wait till she can have nectar and ambrosia we give her water!" I yelled breaking down. Zizi just looked shocked. Then she finally regained her senses. "You like her don't you?" Zizi asked. "I don- yeah I do." I said.
"Look I'm going to be honest with you. Nothing like this has ever happened before. Honestly she should be dead. I guess she is kind of dead I mean she died and now she's not breathing." Zizi said. Lily is she really dead? No, her heart is beating but she's also not breathing. Please let Lillianna bs ok I prayed.
"I've never heard of this happening with Hades children or descendants." Zizi said. And that's when it hit me Hades doesn't have any descendants except for Lily. Since Nico didn't have biological kids and Hazel was a child of Pluto then they are no descendants. The only other descendants would be the ancestors of Lily. Since they weren't famous no one probably knew anything about them. I told Zizi this and she looked shocked.

My left arm was gone from elbow down, my left leg had a big gash in it and so did my right arm, my right ankle was broken, a few of my ribs were cracked, and I had a few more gashes. I think it's safe to say I'm in pain. I quickly made a splint and used Riptide as a crutch. I could hear the sound of monsters getting closer. I grabbed a stick to pit in my armpit as a crutch instead of Riptide so I could fight. The monsters came closer and I slashed in a wide arc. I managed to decapitate one of them so they disintegrated. All the monsters lunged, 57 to be exact. I managed to kill 19 of them and hurt 33 more.
I ended up with more broken bones and a lot more gashes. I couldn't continue, I was going to die. Suddenly I got a surge of energy. Most of my injuries disappeared except for my broken ankle and a few gashes. I think they gave me nectar and ambrosia. I started to fight again. There were 10 monsters left. A few of them lunged and I stabbed. Wait I stabbed were did that come from? That's a Roman technique. Ok right now that doesn't matter I'll figure it out later. I finished killing the rest of the monsters.
The scene changed. I was happy? This can't be right there must be something wrong. I was sitting on the dock of Camp Halfblood with Jake. We were talking about the second titan war. In the end the villain became the hero. "Lily?" Jake said. "Yeah?" I responded. "Do you want to go to that Italian restaurant on Friday?" Jake asked. "Of course, Blood Boy." I answered. Wait, no this is wrong I need to get back. I need to pass this test but how? "Um Jake?" I said. "Yeah?" He replied. "None of this is real and this is all some test for me to get back into the real world." I said relieved for it to be off my chest. "Lily are you ok? None of that stuff is true forget about it!" He responded. I need to forget about it his voice sounds so convincing. Forget, I can be happy.
"How about we go to the restaurant right now?" I asked with a grin. "Great idea!" He exclaimed. We left to change and then came back out to drive to the restaurant. "You look amazing!" He gasped. I smirked, he was so flustered. "You don't look that and yourself." I replied. He took my hand and we walked to the cab.
