10: Jake

"Zizi come on! Let's just give her some water! It can't get much worse!" I yelled. "There is no point the nectar and ambrosia didn't do anything so why should the water!" She replied. "Zizi let's just try. You said yourself this hasn't happened before so maybe nectar and ambrosia isn't the answer." I replied in a normal voice tired of arguing. "I guess it makes sense if you put it that way." She replied.
I took a bucket and went to scoop up some water from the sea. Please wake up Lily. I've been praying almost none stop. We're almost at Poseidon's castle I think. How am I supposed to face him. "I got the water." I said. "Great give it to her." Zizi replied. "Should I splash it or pour it on her?" I asked. "How about both" She answered. "Alright I'll pour it then splash the rest." I replied.
As I went to pour it on her the boat shook. Great monster attack. It's an eel. "Let's just get this over with!" I yelled and charged. I slashed as Zizi sent an arrow. "It's a bounty eel!" She said surprised. "What are those?" I asked. "Someone puts up a bounty and instead of people going themselves they send pets and stuff." She answered. "Great So now we have a price on our head!" I screamed. Things keep getting worse and worse.

The restaurant is very crowded when we enter so we have to wait a while to take our seats. I was snuggled into Jake's chest. We just sat there for a while in a comfortable silence. "I love you, Ocean Girl!" Jake suddenly interrupted. Oh my gods Jake just told me he loves me. Before I could think anything else I heard "I love you too, Blood Boy!" I realized it was me. He was about to kiss me when a waitress interrupted by clearing her throat.
"Come with me, there is a table ready." She said. She walked away and we followed her hand in hand. "Here you go." She said as we sat down and handed us our menus. "I'll back be back in a minute." She said. I decided on what I want. When she came back I was about to order but Jake interrupted. "Can we get a large spaghetti." He asked and winked at me. So that's why he wanted to go to an Italian restaurant.
We finished dinner and were walking along the beach at Camp Halfblood. We were talking about how Camp Halfblood and Camp Jupiter are different. We then laid down on the sand and we were looking at the stars. I snuggled into the crook of his neck. He put his arm around my neck and pulled me closer. He turned his head to kiss me. Before he could I got shocked. I need to get back and to do that I have to kill Jake. No! I can't kill Jake. We were kissing now as I took out Riptide. I brought it behind him and stabbed. He fell limp less to the floor. "NO!" I yelled. I was crying now.

She's breathing! As soon as we poured water she started breathing. "Zizi I told you it would work!" I yelled in joy. She hugged me. Wait, a huntress hugged me? I guess she likes Lily too. "Well I guess boys aren't that stupid after all." She said. We waited a few minutes. I was about to give up but then something happened.
I heard crying. I looked over and saw Lilly was awake. SHE'S AWAKE! She's also crying? "Zizi!" I yelled then ran over to Lily. She was saying I killed him. Who did she kill? "Lily? What's wrong?" I asked. I hate seeing her like this. "JAKE!" She yelled and jumped into my arms. I was surprised at first but I hugged her back. She was still crying and saying I killed him. "What's wrong Ocean Girl?" I asked again. "I-I ki-killed you!" She whisperd bursting into even more tears. I hugged her tighter and then let her go so I could look in her face.
"You didn't kill me I'm right here." I told her. She calmed down a bit but she still had tears streaming down her face. "I did! I did kill you!" She screamed. "No you didn't I'm right here." I replied. "What happened?" I asked. At first she didn't answer. I looked over and saw Zizi watching. I was grateful for the space. After a few minutes when she was calmed down she started to explain.
"I didn't die. I was just transported down to the Underworld. Hades told me that I had to pass a series of tests while I was in a coma." She explained. "At first you seemed dead. That must've been when you were in the Underworld. I guess when you started your tests that's when your heart started beating." I said. "Yeah I guess. I was in the middle of battle for one of my tests and I was losing because I was all injured. I got a surge of energy." She continued. "That must've been when we gave you nectar and ambrosia." I realized. "Yeah it was so thank you! My last test was a happy one." She replied and blushed.
"What happened?" I asked. "That's not important. Anyway so I'm the last test I was happy but suddenly I remembered I had to get back. But to get back I had to kill you." She finished on the verge of tears. I hugged her. "It's ok." I said soothing her. "I'm glad you're not dead." She said. "I'm glad you're not dead too." I replied and she smiled. Then Zizi came over and hugged her. "Oh thank Artemis you're ok!" Zizi exclaimed. "Thanks! I was worried you died while I was taking the tests." Lily replied.
"I think we're close to Poseidon's castle. Are we?" I asked. "Actually no, you guys are off course. We're almost at the Sea of Monsters." Lily answered. "If we go in it will be hard to get out we need to change course immediately." Zizi added. "Done!" Lily exclaimed as the boat turned around. "We're going to go to Florida and go on the land so we can cut across and save time." Lily explained.
"Jake you should sleep." Zizi said. "I'm fine." I replied. "You haven't slept for days!" She yelled. "YOU WHAT!" Lily screamed louder than Zizi. "I was making sure you were alright." I responded. "You sleep NOW!" Lily commanded. "But I-" I started to say but was cut off by glares from Zizi and Lily.
I closed my eyes and immediately fell asleep. I was sitting on Lily's lap as a puppy. "Well don't you look adorable!" Lily exclaimed. "My little Jakie!" She cooed. I wanted to say I'm not adorable or anything but I didn't. I just laid in her lap while she petted me. I fell asleep on her lap. When I woke up I was a human on her bed. I looked up and saw a note on the drawer. I'm training at the arena. Come see me when you wake up.
I changed and walked over to the training arena to see Lily slashing dummies. Then she started stabbing? That's Roman. Did I rub off on her? "Hey!" I said grabbing her attention. She turned around and capped Riptide. "Hey Blood Boy!" She replied. "Since when have you used Roman techniques?" I asked. "What are you talking about silly the camps have merged techniques. You know this!" She answered. "Right yeah." I said.
She walked over and kissed me. Slowly at first then we deepened the kiss. We broke apart gasping for air. We were about to kiss again someone interrupted. "Oh come on you two not again! This is a training arena! Get a room!" A voice yelled. I turned around and it was Skylar. "Oh come on Skylar! No one else is here!" Lily replied. "Aw is my Ocean Girl frustrated?" I teased. "Shut up Blood Boy!" She responded shooting me down with a glare.
"We could always 'train' in your cabin." I suggested with a smirk. "Alright then follow me!" She said swinging Riptide and slashing at the grass while running. As soon as I closed the door she threw her sword an inch away from my head. "Not what you had in mind now." She stated with a grin. "Jokes on you! Your door is dented." I replied. "Anddddd?" She responded. "You know what never mind." I said. "Aww is my Blood Boy frustrated?" She teased while coming right in front of me inches apart. She then backed away holding Riptide.
I walked over to her my spear in my hand. I kissed her neck and her hand became loose and I took Riptide from her. "It's not nice to tease." I smirked and walked away. But then something happened. I was dunked with ICE cold water. I screamed and dropped my spear and Riptide. Lily came and picked them both up. "Right back at you." She replied. "Come on then let's spar!" She exclaimed.
She lunged but I ducked. I tried to stab her legs but she jumped. Why do we have to know each other so well. We kept sparring until Skylar walked in and we didn't even notice. "Woah you two are amazing! Honestly I thought you would be doing something different not actually training!" She interrupted. We both messed up and tripped at the same time at the sound of her voice. "Oh my gods you even have the same reaction!" She said trying not to burst out laughing. "What do you want Skylar?" I asked. "Well Chiron says you have to train the knew campers." Skylar answered. "Alright let's go." Lily said with a bored expression.
