5: Lillianna

         Ugh Jake is so annoying but he's also really sweet, funny, kind, and pretty. Oh my gods I think I like him. His light brown hair that's blonde at the tips (natural by the way), his intriguing eyes, his perfect skin not too rough or soft, his grin that makes my stomach have butterflies, and his personality. Oh gods now I know I like him. Why? He probably doesn't like me back. But I can't stop thinking about him. And oh gods when laughs it's manly but adorable. He's so cute. I'm a bit taller than him though by like a centimeter. He's definitely going outgrow me we're only 14. Speaking of being 13 that's too early to be in a relationship. I can't wait to tell Emma about him. I mean she told me about how she likes Max. I'm just happy Jake gets to come with me so I don't have to leave him behind. At least I get to move back to New York I mean why didn't I stay in the first place. I'm glad I didn't though or I probably wouldn't have met Jake or the others.
        I realized I was staring at him when he said "Hey Ocean Girl why are you looking at me?" He said with a smirk. I blushed a little but I made it go away. "Oh sorry I zoned out and you just happened to be what I was looking at." I replied satisfied with my answer. "What were you thinking about when you zoned out?" He asked. "I was thinking about getting to see Emma, Max, and Lucas again" I said I mean I wasn't lying I just told home one of the things I was thinking about. "Oh ok. Let's continue packing." He said.
        Once we finished packing he left to pack his own stuff. I plopped on my bed and drifted to sleep thinking about Jake.
         In the dream me and Jake were talking in the strawberry fields at Camp Halfblood  when he changed the subject. "Hey Ocean Girl?" He said. "Yeah?" I responded. He looked away for a moment then quickly turned around and pressed his lips against mine. He then backed away unsure of my reaction. OH MY GODS JAKE KISSED ME! Before he could say anything I grabbed his face in my hands and crashed my lips against his, we stayed like that for a few moments and then we backed away smiling. "Does this mean you like me back?" He asked. "Well yeah! what else would it mean?" I replied with a smirk. He just smiled and said "Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked nervously. "Of course Blood Boy! What was the kiss for!" I replied and smiled. He pulled me into an embrace and kissed my forehead. "Hey can we go sit by the beach?" I asked. "Of course anything for you Ocean Girl!" He replied.
          He then picked me up bridal style and carried me to the beach. People were staring at us cheering. He put me down on the sand and sat down next to me. People were still cheering so I yelled at them to shut up and go away. They took a few pictures but they left. Jake started hugging me again so I snuggled into his chest. I could finally do this with him. We were sitting for a while when he came in for kiss but then the dream ended because Skylar was shaking me awake.
           "Why'd you wake me up I was having a good dream?" I whined. "A good dream about Jake?" She said with a smirk. "What no I wasn't dreaming about Jake!" I lied. "Then why were you saying his name in your sleep and kissing your pillow!" She said with a bigger smirk. "Ok fine I was dreaming about Jake." I mumbled. "So are you going to tell me or not?" She pleaded. "Ugh fine!" I said sounding annoyed but it was good getting it off my chest. So I told her all about my dream and how I like Jake. "Aww you guys would be so cute together!" She exclaimed the squealed .  Just then Jake walked in. "I heard screaming are you ok?" Jake said. Aww it's so cute that he cares. "First of all yes we're ok and second we were squealing it's different." I explained. "Whatever you guys should be getting ready not fooling around." He said.
           I listened to Jake and got up he smiled at me and I smiled back. When we finished getting ready we headed to the airport. I wanted to sit next to Jake on plane but I kept insisting that Skylar sat next to me. But she knew I wanted to sit next to Jake so while I was protesting she sat in front of us. Jake seemed sad that I "wanted" to sit next to Skylar instead of him. "Aww don't be sad I just wanted to sit next to Skylar because I wanted to finish what we were talking about." I said. "Oh." He said his face lighting up. "I wasn't sad though, I don't care." He said even though I knew he was lying.
       Jake and I were talking the whole flight and we kept scooting closer so by the end of the flight my leg was touching his leg. As we landed I heard Skylar squeal "We're here, we're here!" And everyone just gave her an annoyed look. We exited the plane and made our way to the car outside waiting to take us to camp. While we were on the car I called my mom to tell her what's going on. As I expected she was really happy but then I told her about the going back to camp to get a Prophecy to go on a quest so she got depressed again.
        I'm really nervous for the Prophecy. When we got there I was immediately taken to a cave with a mummy. Chiron explained they're waiting for a mortal to claim the spirit so it's just in the old oracle's body I think her name was Rachel.
To find the traitor
One must seek the sailor
To go on the correct land
They must follow the sand
The deadline of Winter Solstice
I know the sailor is my dad but why is it only 5 lines there is no last rhyme. The ancient lands are in Europe but I don't know about the sand and traitor. I leave the cave to find my friends sitting with Chiron waiting for me. I say the Prophecy and explain what I know.
         I feel like I could faint, what happens if I don't meet the deadline? I think I looked really bad because Jake just excused himself and took me with him. "What's wrong?" He said. "What happens if we don't meet the deadline. What if someone dies because of me. What if-" I was panicking until I was cut off. "Don't worry about the what if's. You need to focus on the quest." He said. I suddenly pulled him into a hug. At first he was surprised but he hugged me back. "What was that for?" He asked. "I just feel like someone's going to die." I said. He looked me in the eyes and tried to calm me down. And then I realized "What if you're the one that dies?" I choked out holding back tears. "Look at me. I'm not going to die ok?"He said reassuringly. "Ok." I said calming down a bit. Jake and I went back inside the Big House.
         "I've decided who you're taking with you Lily." Chiron said. "Isn't Lily supposed to choose?" Lucas added. "Normally yes but I just have a feeling." Chiron said. "Anyway the three that are going on the quest are Lily, Jake, and one of the hunters of Artemis Zizi." Chiron said. "Don't the hunters and campers usually not get along and not go on quests together?" Emma said. "Yeah." Max agreed. "Well it has been done so it's not impossible. Anyway get ready you're leaving tomorrow morning." Chiron said. I walked back to my cabin getting the feeling someone was going to die and I'm prettty sure it's Zizi. According to Chiron I should be able to smell death so if I will know once I meet Zizi tomorrow. I can't help but think that Chiron know someone is going to die so he doesn't want to make it Jake. Ugh I don't know what's going on with me right now. I'm like super tired. I guess Hades was my first godly ancestor. Wait can I shadow travel and summon the dead? I don't know I guess I will find out later.
