So, I always do this! I start to write a poem, and somehow it morphs its little self into a representation of my story. I guess that's what God intends my poems to be a lot of the time.

Dawning
Filled with a song
A crisp new notion
Another dawning day
A strange devotion
Filled with a promise
A smile on a face
A look in his eyes
A doubt now erased
Harboring his scent and
A covered old lie
A disguised façade
A heart-wrenching sigh
Finding new hope
A dangerous try
A fresh new me
A painstaking goodbye
Knowing the new love
A grand new start
The kiss of forgiveness
Stealing my whole heart <3
