Chapter Twenty-Four

                       Sage's POV
It's been two weeks since me and Remington made up. Things have kinda gone back to normal, like sometimes he'll stay the whole night with me others he'll wait till I'm asleep and leave. We talk all the time, we agreed to always talk cause when we weren't it was hell!

He promised me his always gonna be with me and I promised him I'll always be with him.

Right now, It's Friday and I'm doing homework, Me and Remington we're planning on me spending the weekend at his house.

I just have to convince my mom and dad. After finishing my homework I walked downstairs.

"Mom? Dad" I called walking through the house.

"Yeah Sage?" Dad said as he walked out his office.

"Can I spend the weekend at a friend's house?" I asked nicely.

"Which friend?" He asked looking down at me.

"Um my friend Lucy" I said lying hopefully he'll believe me.

"Go ask your mom" he said pointing at their bedroom.

F*ck.

I nodded and nervously walked over, now your probably confused as to why I'm nervous, it's cause she can tell when I'm lying.

"Mom?" I asked super sweetly as I opened the door.

"Yes honey?" She said as looked up at me from her laptop.

"I have a question?" I asked laying on their super comfy bed.

"What is it?" She asked.

"Can I spend the weekend with Lucy?" I asked hoping and praying she'll say yes.

"I don't know about the weekend" she said not hopping on board with this idea.

"Mom please, just this one time?" I begged.

"Sage honey-" she turned the chair around to see on my knees begging while on her bed.

"Mom please, please, please!!" I begged trying annoy her.

"Alright, fine but if I call you better answer!" She said demandingly.

"Deal! Thank you Mom!" I said jumping up and hugging her.

"Your welcome, have good weekend" she said kissing my head.

I ran up to my room and started packing my bag for the weekend. I was jumping around while packing.

"Sage can I borrow you-" Noelle asked as she walking in my room but she stopped talking when she seen me packing.

"What?" I asked looking at her.

"What are you doing?" She asked walking over and looking inside my bag.

"Nothin' I'm going to spend the weekend with Lucy" I said continuing the packing.

"Oh alright" She said.
