Chapter Thirty-One

                 Sage's POV
I got out of the shower and wrapped a towel around my body. Its like five thirty and the party is gonna be starting soon.

Its like a week till christmas, and it's been a week since I've shopped for everyone.

I walked into my room, Mom had left a outfit for me to wear, its really cute and I like it.

Its a black crop top paired with a high waisted grey flowly skirt at the end of it is layered almost looks ripped. I put it on and put on some small sliver dainty jewelry. Once I sat down at my makeup desk, I began doing my makeup.

I did a simple makeup look, my hair is still drying so I just a black beanie over it.

I looked in the mirror, I feel a bit insecure in a skirt, its short its long but still.

I turned all around in the mirror.

"You look beautiful" Noelle said standing in my doorway.

"No I don't" I scoffed at her, there's no way she thinks I'm beautiful.

" Yes you do Sage" Noelle said as she walked up to me.

"Thanks" I said smiling at her.

"Mom wanted me to get you cause the party started" Noelle said as she smiled.

"Alright Ill be down" I said as I grabbed my phone.

We both walled down and there are a few people, my parents friends and Lucy, Toni, Jordan,  Remington, Emerson, Sebastian and Hannah as well as there mom Stephanie, who is friends with my mom and dad, which is kinda funny.

It's taking alot to not run up to Remi and Hug him so instead I walked up to Lucy and Toni.

"Holy shit Sage" Lucy said as looked at me with wide eyes.

"What?" I asked worried that something is wrong.

"You look amazing!" She said looking at me up and down.

"You really do Sage" Toni said, then she pulled out her phone and we gather into the picture.

I walked over to mom who was at the island in the kitchen drinking some wine.

"Hi Sweetie" Mom said as she gave me a hug.

"Hey mom" I said hugging back.

"Enjoying the party?" She asked smiling.

"So far so good" I said as I looked over at Remington with Toni.

"Who are you looking at?" Mom  asked looking over in the same direction.

"That guy, I wanna go talk to him" I said lying my ass off.

"Um, i don't know" Mom said looking at me.

At the same time Robert had a stepped into the conversation.

"Oh Come on Marisa, let her" Robert said as he sat down at the island.

"Alright, go on" Mom gave in with a small smile.

I smiled and gave her a quick hug and walked over to Remington, Lucy and Toni.

"Hey" I said to them with a smile.

"Hey babe" Remington said smiling at me.

He knows we can't be all over each other cause of my parents.

I blushed and smiled at him.

"Y'all wanna go ahead and play " Toni said pointing to the table of presents.

"Sure" I said as I grabbed the hat filled with numbers, whichever number we picked we have to find the presents with that same number.

Christmas music played in the background as I shuffled the numbers in the hat. Lucy picked Five, Toni got seven, Emerson got three, Jordan got six, Remington picked eight and I got nine.

We each grabbed our present from the table, Lucy and Toni switched boxes.

"Y'all ready?" I asked lightly shaking mine to see what it is.

"Yeah" They said.

Lucy went first and she got a monkey coffee mug, Toni opened hers and she got a sloth pillow, Emerson went next and got a Eiffel tower statue which he loved. Jordan opened hers and got a cactus pillow, Remington opened his and he got a little Avocado plushies, I opened mine and got a unicorn onesie.

"Awe! " I said as I held it close.

We talked about how much we loved our gifts.

"Hey sage can i talk to you for a second?" Remington asked. I nodded and we walked somewhere that no one could see use.

"Yeah?" I asked.

He smirked and pushed me against the wall and kissed me.

Oh okay!!! This is fine.

Once we pulled away, he looked at me up and down.

"Damn" He said as he bit his lip.

"What?" I asked looking at him.

"Your beautiful" He said.

We walked back to the party and Toni nor Robert was no where to be found.

"Where did they go?" I asked Lucy.

She just gave me this look of 'there f*cking in his room'

So I laughed and walked walk away.

The rest of party I danced with Remi.
