Chapter Twenty

Sage's POV
Few Weeks Later

After school, Lucy invited me to the skate park to hang with a bunch of people. So of course I said yes.

I blow dried my hair and straighten it along with putting on a spaghetti strapped black tank top with some black high waisted skinny jeans and a grey jacket cause it's getting a little bit colder.

I honestly look like I've stepped out of 2007 but I like it. I did my makeup, eyeliner, foundation, mascara. Threw my phone and headphones in my pocket and walked downstairs.

My mom already knows where I'm going and my dad as we speak is performing heart surgery on a 72 year old man with cane he will hit anyone with if he doesn't have his apple juice. My dad is scared of this man.

The skate park is like five minutes away from my house so I'm walking there. I put my headphones in and played Butcher Babies Headspin.

Once I got to the skate park, I seen a bunch of people, I also seen Toni waving at me and smiling on top of a table.

I giggled and walked over to her.

"Hey help me get down" she said laughing.

Before I really say anything she jumped into my arms. I put her down and we walked over to our little group of Emerson, Emerson's Girlfriend Nia, Lucy and her girlfriend Jordan, Calum and Ashton. There's also a new girl who've I've never met before.

" hey Sage this is Rae, Jordan's sister" Lucy said, Jordan I've met before, Rae I have not.

She's got pink hair, her hair is dreaded which look really good, shes just a little shorter then me, blue eyes.

" Hey Sage nice to meet you" she said smiling, I can tell she's got a accent just like Jordan but I don't know where their from.

"Nice to meet you to" I said.

"Where are you from cause you don't sound like your from here?" I asked curiously.

"Oh I'm from Oklahoma" She said.

"Cool, I'm from Georgia " I said smiling.

We talked about random stuff for a minute.

"Hey Rae, Baby come here" I heard a all two familiar voice say that.

"Okay! I'll be back" she said then ran off.

I looked behind me to see Remington with a group of kids. Rae got over there to him, he hugged her and kissed her.

Seriously?.

Lucy brought a loud ass speaker, when she connected she played Killpop by Slipknot.

"Hey where's Rae?" Jordan asked looking around.

I looked around didn't see her or Remington.

"I saw her leaving with Remington" Nia said.

"Oh my God" she said as she pulled out her to call her I guess.

I sat on the picnic table, I had my feet on the seat part. Nia came over to me and sat beside me.

"Hey you okay?" She asked me.

"Yeah I'm fine" I said flashing my best fake smile.

"Alright, how's life?" She asked pulling her phone out and looking on it.

"Life is Life, been good" I said looking around at tons of people skating around as well as Toni and Jordan trying to teach Lucy how to skate.

"That's good" she said giggling.

"How many times are we gonna say good?" I asked chuckling.

"I don't know" she said laughing and laying her head on my shoulder.

"Take a picture with me babe" She said to me, I smiled at the whole "babe" thing, to Nia everyone is Babe.

She pulled Snapchat up and she slightly lifted her head off my shoulder, I stuck my tongue out as did she.

We took a couple a more pictures then Toni came over.

"Wassup" She said laughing.

"Wassup" I repeated smiling.

"Lucy is unteachable when it comes to skating" Toni sighed.

"So I've seen" I said as I've been watching them a little bit.

"Oh theres a party tonight" Toni said.

"Not a party person, you going though?" I asked looking over at her and moved some of the hair that fell infront of my face.

"I think so, I know Lucy and Jordan are going" she said as she looked around.

"Me and Emerson are going to" Nia said smiling.

"Have fun y'all" I said making a weird face. Which is mix of Duck face and creepy person, I don't know.

"What the f*ck was that?!" Toni asked loudly and laughing.

" I don't know man" I said laughing.

I hung out there before starting to walk home, I walked through the parking lot when I seen Rae and Jordan, it looked like their arguing.

So I like any normal person, I hide somewhere to listen in on them.

"Jordan what is the big f*cking deal?!" Rae exclaimed.

"The big deal is, You didn't tell me you were leaving, You didn't pick up when I called and you know not to leave with him!" Jordan yelled at her.

" I would have picked up had Id not been busy!" Rae yelled back.

Busy doing what?

"What the hell were you doing anyway?!" Jordan asked frustrated.

"Nothing serious, Just hanging out with him" Rae said, she's obviously is hiding something.

"Bullshit! Girls don't just 'hang out' with him, so what were you really doing?" Jordan asked clearly pissed off.

"Oh my God, fine we hooked up..." Rae admitted.

"I'm taking you home" Jordan said as she opened her car door.

It's taking me everything in me to not go beat the dog shit out of Rae. I can't believe this.

I started walking around the parking lot so they wouldn't see me. Everything felt it was in slow motion, My heart pounded and adrenaline ran though out my body.

Once I got home, there was pizza on the table.

"Sage, come get some pizza" Violet said being overly sweet.

"Alright" I said.

I got a few slices of pizza, I don't plan on coming back downstairs.

I wrapped myself in a blanket turned Netflix and cried as well as ate pizza.
