Chapter Twenty-seven

                  Sage's POV
Twas the morning after and I had just woken up to my dad walking into the house.

The time is way to early to be up aka 7:45am. I raised up, dad was sitting his doctor bag down as well as IHOP bag.

That's when I stood up, I need food, I stepped over Lucy and Toni, Last night Toni came back into the living room about two hours later and wasn't 'as tired as she thought'

I yawned and stretched as I walked into the dining room and started rummaging through the IHOP bag.

"Good morning sweetie" dad said as he side hugged me and kissed my head.

"Morning dad" I said leaning into his hug.

"Sleep good?" Dad asked as he smiled at me.

"Yeah, it was good" I said pulling out a take out box of waffles. 

Soon after I started eating, Lucy and Toni woke up.

" I sense waffles!" Toni yelled as as she walked inside the kitchen.

Lucy and Toni sat down next to me and started eating.

Two waffles later I was laying on Lucy's shoulder regretting my decisions. Robert came downstairs with a huge smile.

"What are you smiling about?" Dad asked Robert as he poured a cup of coffee.

"Oh, I just a really good night's  sleep" he said glancing at Toni.

"Cringe" Lucy whispered in my ear, which almost me laugh my ass off.

Toni looked at Robert and smiled, My dad is standing there oblivious to the flirting.

My life is a fricken' drama series. Awesome.

*the next day*

Lucy, Toni and I sat on the couch, watching tv before Lucy's mom comes to get them.

All of sudden a phone starting ringing, I think its mine but my phone is next to Toni on the other side of the couch and I'm lazy and don't wanna move.

"hey Sage, your loverboy is calling!" Toni yelled as she glanced at my phone.

Oh shit, my dad could have heard her. 

I threw a pillow at her and jumped and grabbed my phone.

"Hello" I said sweetly while Toni beating me with a pillow.

"Hey, I have a question?" Remington asked.

"What is it?" I anwsered while trying to fight Toni in our pillow war.

"My brother is town for a week with his girlfriend, were gonna go out and eat. I wanted to see if you wanna to come with me" he asked, I could tell he's nervous.

"Yeah totally" I said smiling and knocking Toni in the head.

"You bitch!!!" She laughed and tried to slap me but she got my ass.

I turned around, laughing at her.

"Don't smack my ass!" I said laughing, now realizing that Im still on the phone with Remington this got awkward.

Hes laughing his ass off.

"What did she do?!" Remington asked laughing.

"Toni smacked my ass" I said as I  sat down on the couch.

"Tell her I said that shes not allowed to do that" He said chuckling.

"He said that your not allowed to do that" I said as I looked at Toni.
