Chapter Twenty-Two

                         Sage's POV
I woke up with Luna and Moon jumping all over me along with Peter laughing at me.

"Oh you jackass" I said pushing Luna and Moon off me and petting them after.

"Get up!" Peter said laughing and smiling.

"Noo" I said as I slowly got up.

"Yes " he said grabbing arm and pulling me and out of bed.

"alright, alright I'm up" I said looking over at my clock, bright and early morning.

"School today?" Peter asked as I walked to my closet.

"Yeah" I said yawning, I didn't sleep good last night.

I slept in my bed with Toni and Lucy, stay awake most of the night. For some reason I can feel a anxiety bubble forming in my chest, something's gonna happen soon.

The clothes I'm wearing today are a black pair of cargo pants with a black tank top along with some high top converse. I changed and brushed my hair along with did my makeup.

At this point it's been two months since me and Remington talked. I miss him alot.

There's so much I wanna say to him, but I'm afraid that I'm never gonna get to say it.

We walked downstairs and I seen everyone eating waffles.

"Ah she's finally awake" Mom said smiling.

"Do I really have to go to school today?" I asked and I swear to God, Dad, Mom, Robert and Peter looked at me.

"Yes" They said.

"Oh..okay" I said just a little bit creeped out.

"Who's taking us, I don't wanna ride the bus" Lucy said with a mouth full of waffles.

"I will on my way to work" Robert said.

"No need bud, I've got us a ride" Toni said putting her phone up.

"Cool" Robert said before he took a drink of his coffee.

I took a couple more bites of food before grabbing my bag in my room. As I walked back down Toni opened the door and a really tall guy walked inside, she wrapped her arms around him and hugged him.

"Time out who's that?!" Robert said, I doubt he wanted to say that out loud.

I shugged and shook my head, I have no idea who it is.

"It's her brother.." Lucy leaned in and said.

"Oh" Robert and I said.

"Sage, this is my brother Casper" Toni said.

Once I got a good look at this guy, he's really attractive, damn, Dyed Grey and blue kinda spiked hair. Snake bites and on his forearm is the makings of a tattoo sleeve. He's tall and slim.

I smiled and waved, starting to get nervous around him.

"Casper, I'm here ya know?" Lucy said smiling.

"I know " he said chuckling and hugging her.

Peter walked in.

"Oh my God Casper!" He said walking over.

" Oh damn, Peter!" Casper shouted and they hugged.

"Assuming you guys know each other?" I asked.

"yeah we used to live in the same dorm" Casper said smiling as he threw his arm around Peter.

We all got into Casper's car, All of us being, Me, Toni and Lucy. I sat in the front, I didn't wanna be infront cause I'm getting nervous around Casper but Toni and Lucy climbed in the back before I could.

Casper turned on the radio and Killpop by Slipknot flowed through the speakers. I started quietly singing the words.

"Slipknot fan?" Casper asked smiling.

"Yes, I love them" I said looking at him.

"Nice, what other kind of music do you like?" He asked me. 

"Motionless in white, In This Moment, Flyleaf, new years day" I named off some of my favorite bands.

"Well, you my darling have just named off some of my favorite bands as well" he said smiling and turning onto the road that leads to the school.

I lightly blushed, I tried to hide it but I think he seen it.

I looked back and Toni and Lucy we're smirking and smiling. We pulled up at the school.

"Thanks for the ride bro" Toni said smiling as she opened the door to his car.

"No problem, have a good day" He said smiling flashing a dimple.

"See ya Casper" Lucy said as she Scooted out of the car.

"Bye" I said quietly and got out with my backpack over my shoulder.

"Bye Sage" He said smiling.

I shut the door, we walked towards the school. Casper drove off.

"So your brother seems nice" I said as I grabbed a book out of my locker. 

"Yeah he's cool" Toni said smirking at me.

"Yeah" I said as we walked down the hallway.

Walking down the hallway and almost to my class, I seen Remington.
He looked tired and upset, his hair wasn't fixed like he normally has it but instead wearing a beanie and all black clothes as usual, he wasn't with Jolene or Rae but with some other girl.

He glanced at me and I looked down at my feet.

I miss him.
