Chapter Thirty-Six

                  Sage's POV
The snow on the road melted and the snow on the ground is currently melting. The news said that a polar vortex caused the freak blizzard, but the baking heat we usally have will come back. The twins came back home and there now packing stuff, they wanted to go with mom and I much prefer to stay with dad.

Noelle and Violet are very pissed at me for 'causing the fight' and my personal favorite 'ending my parents marriage'

I sat on the couch with Luna and Moon next to me chewing on there toys.

"Mom, can we take Luna and Moon?" Violet asking doing her usual pouty face that makes when she wants something.

"What?! No" I said looking at her.

She completely ignored me and mom looked at me.

"No, They stay with Sage" She said in surprising not hateful tone.

"But mom" Violet groaned out sounding like a two year old.

"No buts, now take your stuff out to the car" she said as she packed all her work stuff from her office which was off the dining room and kitchen.

I went back watching tv and petting the pups, Violet stormed out.

"Sage come here please" mom called from her office.

Great. I got up and walked into her office and leaned on the wall.

"What?" I said not looking at her. She glanced at me and sighed.

"I wanna talk so would you please look at me" she asked crossing her arms.

"What" I said looking at her with no expression.

She came close to me and touched my face where she smacked me, which is still bruise.

"I'm sorry" She said as I pushed her hand away.

I rolled my eyes, I have nothing to say.

"whatever" I said as I got off the wall to leave.

"Sage Aliza, Come back here" She said and I stopped and turned back to her.

"I've got nothing to say you!" I snapped, I hope she'll get the picture.

"Sage, I am your mother You do not talk to me like that" She yelled stepping close to me.

"Or what you'll hit me again?" I asked getting in her face.

"Ugh! I'm so sick of your attitude!" She said before smacking me again.

It wasnt hard like the first one but she hit me right on that bruise.

"F*ck You!" I screamed at her before dad grabbed me and put me behind him and got infront  of her.

"Sage?! Im sorry!" She said freaking out and crying.

"Get yourself a damn good lawyer!" Dad said as he pointed to the door.

I ran off to Roberts room, I was crying and I walked in and sat on his bed.

"Hey, hey whats wrong?" He asked as he sat down beside me and hugged me.

I couldn't make works, I was crying and shaking.

"C-call Remi" I managed to get out as I got my phone out and handed to Robert.

He nodded and I put my head in my knees and kept shaking.

"Hey Remington, I know this is weird but Sage is crying and-" i guess he got cut off.

"Oh okay" Robert said then hung up the phone.

"He's on his way" He said as sat beside.

I nodded and tried to breathe, my knuckles were white from how hard I was clutching my fists.
