Chapter Four-Five

Seven Months Later
Sage's POV

Just got home from a weekend with mom and her boyfriend Lucas, shocker seven months later and there still together. The house looks empty right now, Lucy and Toni are at school, college, I do home school now and I love it. The less human interaction the better.

"Sage, have you done your school work?" Robert asked from the dining room.

"Not all of it and shit you scared me!" I yelled at him.

"Get it done" He said laughing.

I gave him a thumbs up and sat on the couch, I got my laptop out and opened up everything for school. School has never really been challenging for me but holy shit Junior year is kinda tough, the school I used to go to has a homeschool program so I joined it and now they tell me I can graduate early so thats pretty cool.

I put my headphones in and started listening to Palaye, they put out an ep and have a pretty big fan base and its adorable.

"Homework is done!! Time for snacks!!" I yelled out closing my laptop and hoping off the couch and walking to the kitchen.

"Please don't burn the house down" Robert pleaded with me.

"My god, it was one time and the microwave still works" I said looking the cabinets for food.

"Yeah but it's traumatized now" He said laughing at me.

Before I started cooking the pups Luna and Moon ran up to me and started jumping on me, I bent down and started playing with them.

In midst of playing Toni and Lucy walked in the house along with Remington, Sebastian and Emerson.

"Hey Remi" I said as I laid in floor with Luna and Moon.

"Hey babygirl, guess what?" He asked smiling.

"What?" I asked as I got up out of the floor.

"This bar downtown is having a whole bunch of local bands playing and we get to play!" He said jumping around along with Sebastian and Emerson

"Holy shit guys!" I said hugging them.

"Toni! Group hug!!" Lucy yelled as she ran into us.

"Not now I'm eating!" Toni yelled with a mouthful of chips.

She's like seven months pregnant with a little boy. Robert is so excited for him to be here.

"When is the show?" I asked after got done hugging.

"This weekend" Emerson said smiling.

"I feel like a proud mom" Lucy said as she giggled.

"Awe me to" I said laughing and smiling.

"Guys im gonna go hang out with Ryan" Emerson said with a smile.

"Alright,Tell him I love him" I said with a smile.

"Ooh me to!" Remington yelled as Emerson walked out the door.

Emerson spends alot of time with Ryan, there really close. I spent sometime with him at his dorm before I went to moms for the weekend.

"How it go at your mom's?" Remington asked me as he wrapped his arms around me.

"Pretty good actually, I finally finished decorating my room" I said, I leaned my head on his chest, I might fall asleep.

"How does it look?" Remington asked as he rubbed my back.

"According to mom scary" I said laughing and yawning, I'm sleepy.

Mark's POV

Me and my coworker sat down at a table in the cafeteria in the hospital, I'm really stressed and really tired.

"Are you okay man?" My cowoker Steven asked me.

"I really need to vent but I don't know who to vent to" I said running my hand though my hair.

"You can vent to me" Steven said.

"Well, my house is full of teenagers again and my brother. My daughter's boyfriend don't leave the house, he's a good kid and I love him but still. Also her friends live with me now and one of them is pregnant so there's gonna be a baby. Its just alot sometimes" I ranted out and Steven looked a little shocked.

"I-i dont know what to tell you" He said chucking then getting a call about a patient.

"Sounds like you've got full house"a woman said, I looked over to my right and seen a beautiful woman.

"um, Yeah I do" I said chuckling and smiling.

"Mind if I come over and sit with you?" She asked flashing a beautiful smile.

"Sure" I said, forgetting words almost.

She got up from her seat and sat across from me.

"I'm Doc. Claire Oaks" She said smiling.

"I'm Doc. Mark Rufflo, Its a pleasure to meet you" I said, just so you know Rufflo is my maiden name.

"Its a pleasure to meet you to" She said smiling.

"Wait are you the new trauma doctor?" I asked, I remember hearing something about a new doctor.

"Yes I am, this is my first day" she said with a smile.

We talked a little bit more before I had to go see a patient.

I really like her. Wow.
