Chapter Twenty-six

                  Sage's POV
I got home from school, with Lucy and Toni. Luna and Moon ran up to me and jumped on me wagging their tails and barking.

I patted there heads and pushed them off.

"Hey girls how was school?" Mom asked as she type on her laptop.

"Eh, school is school but it was cold was as hell" I said putting my backpack down.

"Watch Your mouth" Dad said looking at me.

"Sorry" I said throwing my hands in the air.

He chucked and gave me a half hug. The door opened Violet and Noelle walked in.

"Hey hood Rat" Noelle said to me.

"Hey elle" I said knowing she hates being called "Elle"

She huffed and rolled her eyes.
Noelle and Violet has called me "Hood Rat" since we're kids. So I call them 'Elle and V' now those don't seem like bad names but they hate it.

Me and Violet get along way better then me and Noelle.

"Hey mom, I have a question" I asked.

"What is it?" Mom replied smiling.

"Can Toni and Lucy spend the night?" I asked hoping she'll say yes.

" honey, Im getting ready to leave for the weekend and your dad's on call, I don't know" She said standing up and grabbing her laptop.

"Please mom, I bet uncle Robert will watch us" I said practice begging.

"Go ask him" Mom said gesturing to Roberts room.

I walked to Roberts room with Toni following me. I got to his door and Toni was literally up on me. I pushed her back and she slapped me in the head.

"Stop!" I whispered to her.

"No!" She whisper.

I rolled my eyes and felt Toni get back on me. I knocked on his door.

"Come in" He said.

I opened the door and walked inside, he was sitting on his bed on his phone.

"Hey Sage, Toni" he said looking up at us.

Toni nervously waved at him.

"Toni and Lucy want to spend the weekend here and mom isn't gonna be here and dad will be on call" I said hoping he can stay here.

I watched look at Toni, then this thinking face which is like duck face.

"Alright, I can watch you guys" he said smiling.

"Thanks!" I said as me and Toni high fived.

"Your welcome girls" He said as laughed at our stupidity.

We walked out up too my room, knowing that's where Lucy would be.

I opened the door and seen  Lucy laying there peacefully, yeah that's not gonna last long.
