Chapter Thirty-Nine

             Remington's POV

I sat in my room writing some songs, I found a bunch I had in a box so I'm reading them and fixing them. There's one called Morning Light that I really like.

The room felt empty with Sage here, having her here this past week was much needed. I laid my pen down and leaned back in my chair looking around my room, I had band posters all over the walls, is my room the cleanest, no but its cool.

I looked though my window and into Sage's room, her door had flung open and she walked in, slammed the door and leaned back and slid down the door crying.

I stood up and slipped my shoes on, I walked downstairs to see my mom watching tv and Emerson drawing. I slid out the door and walked across my yard to a gate that leads in Sage's yard.

There are steps that lead to her balcony, I walked up them and grabbed the door handle, the door was locked. Sage gave me a key to the door which was made into a necklace that I wear everyday. I unlocked the door and walked in.

She was crying and hiding her face.

"Babygirl whats wrong?" I asked sitting on the floor infront of her.

She looked up at me and wiped her tears.

"Remi" she said quietly as she climbed into my lap.

"Shh, baby I'm here" I said holding her close kissing her head.

After a few minutes of me and Sage sitting in floor, I got her in the bed. I was laying in my usual spot next to the wall, Sage was in my arms.

"You okay?" I asked moving hair that was infront if her face.

"Yeah" She sniffled, she wasn't crying as bad as she was earlier.

"What got you so upset?" I asked holding her close to me.

"Mom was here and they asked me to choose who I wanna live with and I can't figure it out, because if I choose here then mom will never shut up about it" She let out holding on my hand.

"Wait, are you thinking of living with your mom?" I asked getting a bit worried, I can't live without seeing her everyday.

"No, Remi I'm not leaving you" She said turning towards me and kissing me.

I kissed her back, once we pulled away I looked at her in her eyes.

"Whats wrong then?" I asked her with a hand on her cheek.

"I don't know how to tell my mom" She said with tears in her eyes.

"Don't worry about baby" I said kissing her forehead.

She laid her head on my chest and I rubbed her back.

"I Love You Babygirl" I said smiling.

"I love you to" She said yawning.
